How to unlock the Parting Shot achievement in Dishonored - Definitive Guide
This achievement is really easy to get. At the start of the DLC Daud has a dream where he is attacked by Corvo. All you need to do is defeat him.
You start with only your knife drawn but you actually have some darts so quickly equip and use these to weaken Corvo. When he attacks you, block and then quickly counter strike with your knife. He'll shift around quite a bit so make sure you stay in the area by the desk so he can only come at you from 1 of 2 directions.
Eventually you'll enter a cut scene with Daud attempting to stab Corvo. Depending on how well you've done Daud will either successfully stab Corvo or he'll flip the knife around and stab Daud instead. Either way the achievement should pop. In fact it should only NOT pop if you let Corvo kill you. Simples.

Does this affect a pacifist run or is it ok because it's in a dream?

This achievement is the first obtainable achievement of the Brigmore Witches DLC. This, and every other achievment can be done on the easiest difficulty so that always helps, especially on your low chaos run.
Daud is having a dream in which he fights Corvo. That means you can fight to your heart's content without having to worry about effecting your low/high chaos. Daud has limited powers so I recommend a strategy of teleporting behind Corvo and striking him, while at the same time watching for him to do the same to you. RB is block if he ever manages to get behind you. Don't forget to use health if you need it. After a few good hits, the fight comes to a conclusion by a quick cut scene and the achievement pops. You CAN kill Corvo in the dream and still maintain your Low Chaos without killing anyone achievements.

You will want to do this on your High Chaos playthrough. At the very beginning of the first mission you will be fighting Corvo, fight back to attempt to kill him.
