How to unlock the Political Suicide achievement in Dishonored - Definitive Guide

This is awarded if you pursue the non-lethal path for the mission where you need to eliminate the Lord Regent at Dunwall Tower.

Go to the broadcast tower and talk to the announcer, who will give you the combination to the Lord Regent's safe. Go to his room and get the confession Audiolog from his safe, bring it back to the tower and place it in the machine.

You get the achievement, complete the mission and get possibly the most backstory-enlightening recording of the game.

Can you do this, and get the same achievements as Ghost and Shadow?

It is also possible to earn both this achievement and the Regicide achievement (for assassinating the Lord Regent) in the same playthrough. After starting the tape, head back down the stairs. You will be able to more clearly hear 2 guards' attempts to arrest the Lord Regent. Follow their voices, kill him, and voila, 2 achievements will pop.

I am about to start that mission now, I was thinking I was going to save right before I kill him for the "Regicide" cheev, then reload my save, turn in the "tape" for both the "Political Suicide" AND the "Poetic Justice" cheevos........just a thought...

To get this you must find the broadcaster who is up the stairs to the right of the main doors on the second floor. He will tell you there's a safe where the Lord Regent kept a copy of his confession. Get to the Lord Regents bedroom, the safe combination is 935, then bring it to the broadcaster.

Low Chaos

During Mission 6, you will be tasked to eliminate Lord Regent. Instead of doing so, you must complete an alternate objective. Go up the stairs and inside the broadcasting tower. The broadcaster will fill you in and give you the mission.
