How to unlock the Keen Explorer achievement in Disintegration - Definitive Guide

This guide is purely for if you are stuck on 19 out of 20 caches on Bring The Heat. The achievement unlocked for me after finding this one in the final area and completing the level:


It's quite easy to miss and doesn't show as a HVC when scanning but I got the achievement after finding it and upon replaying the level. I couldn't collect again which is the case for the other HVC's in the game.

Thanks for this, i got 19/20 on first play through. Also just wanted to add that it does now show as a High Value Cache when scanning so looks like it's been updated since solution was posted. Thumbs up from me

"Hardest" and most annoying achievement in the game. Each mission has a set of high-value caches you have to find. Bad news - you have to complete a mission for it to count picked up e.g. if you are missing one in mission 3 you have to replay entire mission 3 even if the cache you missed is at the beginning of the mission. Good news - if you pick up 9 caches playing the mission and mission has 20 caches, you only have to worry about 11 in your another run as the picked up will already be open.

For the most part, they are easy to spot with the scanner but some of them are annoying.

I have found the below guide to help me through most of the mission.

Anyone getting stuck at 19/20 caches on 'Bring the Heat'? Multiple guides, ran the level 6+ times collecting every single cache, not even just collectibles. It'd be cache #7 on this guide that's fucking up. https://video-game-guide-walkthrough.supersoluce.com/solutio... Started a brand new save game, played up through the level again, low and behold I got fucked yet again, 19/20.

Seitzz, I’m having the exact same experience. Went through that level over 3 times now with a fine tooth comb getting every cache. That #7 in the guide is the last one I need in the game and it’s not unlocking for me. Stuck at 19/20.

Got a reply on my ticket, said it's passed up to their QA team, so we'll see how long before/if it gets a fix.

Managed to get it to unlock last night. Found an Electrcity Box that I hadn't seen in any of the guides and wasn't marked as high value. It may of been unrelated to the achievement unlocking but I'm sure that was the only thing I opened that I hadn't opened before. I'll try going back through the level later and see if its already opened to confirm.

Are you talking about the one right after doing the spiders objective? It's on the backside of the platform on the left as soon as you enter after getting the gate open?

I really can't believe that...I know I checked that area multiple times, so I'm curious if I just blatantly missed it, or the scan outline just blends in well and is difficult to see, or possibly just doesn't show up. I guess I'm waiting for game pass, F2P weekend, or 80%+ off. Just so frustrated that every single guide I could fine was incorrect and none of them included that one.

Of course we're getting boned on an F2P weekend, so I guess the best we can hope for is a patch and a future F2P weekend or game pass.
