If playing through the campaign from the start, you'll get this after the final fight in mission 6.

Shoot the Thunderhead until its health bar is depleted then shoot the glowing vents in the armpits. If you are fast enough you can destroy all 4 in one go. If not he regenerates his health to full and you need to do the same cycle again until all are destroyed. If you have Doyle in your crew for the mission his Area bombardment can make quick work of the vents.
