How to unlock the Blot Alley Superstar achievement in Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two - Definitive Guide

This is Blot Alley Superstar - Befriended the Blotworx and helped Petetronic. At the end of Blot Alley you have to wait for the door to open and fight 3 enemies. To get the achievement you can't kill them. To get the cars you have to punch off their fronts with X to expose the red button. Once you do, jump on it and spray the blot with paint (RT). Do the same for the other one and the other guy (jump on the button and paint).

To be safe, do the friendly route (not killing any blots in Blot Alley). I didn't and still got it, but Fancy Bacon only got it by doing the friendly way.

Up Johnny had done the friendly route and dd not get the achievement. So, I'm saying this is glitched and keep trying. Perhaps you could copy a save to a thumb drive before going to see Petetronic so that if doesn't work, you can keep trying until you get it.

I did this and didn't get the achievement. Wondering if it's because I destroyed everything on my way to Petetronic?

I had one explode on my way and didn't get the achievement on the way. So, that can't be it. As long as all 3 are still alive you should get the achievement. When I did it, one got killed so I dashboarded and tried again and got it.

I can confirm that you have to take the friendly route through blot alley in order to get this one.

Weird, I didn't do the friendly route and I got it. This game really pisses me off with it's stupid ways of doing things.

That doesn't surprise me. This game had the most annoying achievements I have ever done.

I got this achievement with no problem on my current playthrough. I befriended all enemies. The only variable i can think of is that I also saved the trapped gremlin.

Will this achievement fail if you turn one of the enemies friendly then that enemy kills another one?
Because if so, i'll have to dashboard if that happens when i try it.

I just did it where I went through whole level friending the enemies. and the last part for this achievement - i befriended two and one got killed by an enemy i befriended. Achievement didn't unlock.

HIGHLY SUGGEST BACKING UP SAVE BEFORE. I have to do another playthrough at the end now.

Does anyone know if you have to befriend the three enemies if you're going for Perfectionist, but already have the achievement? I got Superstar on a different playthrough.

I did it anyway just keep that fucking moron Ian happy, I really didn't want to hear "HURR DURR U KILLED THAT ENEMY I WON'T GIVE U THAT SIDEQUEST NOW.", but confirmation from others would be nice.

I don't doubt that this is glitched, but I got this achievement on the first try, and this is what I did. Hopefully, it helps others.
*I freed the Gremlin at the start of the level.
*I moved slowly through the level and defeated the enemies one at a time from a distance. If Gus said anything negative, (that they were going for a bell, or in one case a friendly Blotwork was too close to Oswald setting off fireworks and died) I quit and restarted. I think you can get the achievement with Gus just warning you about harming Blotworks, but can't confirm that. I didn't want to risk it.
*When I got to the final bit, I just quickly befriended the nearest enemy, then the next, then the last. My reflexes are terrible, so I may have gotten lucky with enemy placement.

The TV sketch is usefull too. It distracts the enemy attention. I combined this with the watch sketch and got it first time with this method. You can buy the TV sketch in the bog easy store for 250 tickets

I also feel that freeing the Gremlin first is necessary. In that case, he fixes the generator and you have the option to skip the fight entirely. By staying, you've "helped Petetronic."

Using the Watch sketch can be helpful in taking care of the enemies quickly and preventing them from killing each other. As others have said, still backup your save ahead of time!

So a few things I think need to be cleared up here, based on my attempt(s).
(1) You must befriend all (14) Blotworx before you reach Ian (Ghost) at the gate to Club 13
(2) You must befriend all (3) Blotworx during the fight at Club 13
Note: 'befriending' means filling an enemy with blue paint (RT)

Tips from my playthrough:
* Level 2 Stopwatch is highly recommended (talk to Train Conductor in Mean Street to make Stopwatch available in Mean Street Emporium)

* Blotlings are allowed to spot you, but you must befriend them before they alert others or ring a bell. If one of them spots you, immediately slow time with the Stopwatch to give yourself time to befriend them. If the bell is rung, Sweepers will toss Thinner and this will cause major issues (rather Dashboard if this is about to happen).

* (I played on Xbox One) If you're afraid something is about to go terribly wrong, Dashboarding and restarting the game can help. Be aware though, that this will load you into the last checkpoint, which may be filled with enemies. If this is the case, you will have to be very fast, when loading, to use the Stopwatch and fix the situation.

* This is the order in which you will find enemies before Club 13: 2 Blotlings in first area---> 3 Blotlings by Blot Alley fountain---> 2 Blotlings in Blotling square through double doors--->2 Spladooshes in small alley---> 1 Blotling between 2 Spladooshes on ground + 2 Blotlings on left and right shuttered balconies

* If you have befriended all 14 Blotworx, Ian will say something nice. If he says something about not having a good run, you may have missed a Blotworx or one was killed somehow. Dashboarding while he is saying this may help you to go back and check when loading the game up again.

* See other guides for tips on befriending the 3 Blotworx in Club 13.

Throw out the TV sketch as soon as the encounter starts.
Run to the enemy on the right, cn_X his grill, jump on the button on his head, then paint him.
Immediately throw out the Watch to slow time.
Jump on the central robot's button on his head and then paint him.
Run to the left enemy, cn_X his grill, jump on the button on his head, then paint him.

If any of the enemies explode, immediately pause and quit to title, then continue to try again.

These are steps I followed in order to get the achievement.
1) Make a backup of the save at the beginning of Blot Alley. (e.g. flash drive usb; I used the main save on usb and backup on the HDD)
2) You don't have to use thinner.
You can jump over the already half-thinned wall (try on the lowest crack) on the left without use the thinner in order to reach the trapped gremlin.
3) Save the trapped gremlin, go back to the start position (by jumping the half thinned wall again) and go through the level step by step, one by one (no need to rush at all) painting all the blots without them ringing the bell.
There are 3 sub-areas in the path to Club 13, take your time and watch the enemy moves before painting them.
If you run out of paint, just press "X" on the lamppost or on the tables in the area (befriend the fat blots from distance one at a time and refill paint as I previously said). Go for a stealth playthrough (get invisible by bathing in the wells situated at the beginning of each sub area - paint the flowers near the wells in order to fill up them with invisible paint) and always aim for one enemy at a time

4) In the last part (before Ian's cutscene) there are 2 small blots to befriend (besides the ground ones - 1 small + 2 fat blots - remember the "one at a time" rule) in the first floor of 2 opposite buildings; start from the springboard trashcan, jump on, get the one on the right and follow the path to the left by jumping from the shelves, get the second one and head to the big door by walking straight (without using fireworks on the ground floor to open an access). If you have done right Ian will tell you and give the pin and continue reading the list, otherwise you have to start again Blot Alley. (copy the backup save to your actual save location, load it and start from point "3")
5) Overwrite backup save with the club 13 checkpoint BEFORE ringing the doorbell.
6) Once the last fight is started, first go for the front of each car by pressing "x".
Keep in mind to group the enemies (by walking in small circles) in a limited area so you can save time moving from one to another.
7) Start befriend one of the cars by jumping on the red button exposed and spray with paint the blot inside.
8) As you befriend the first one, IMMEDIATELY use the clock sketch and go for the second car quickly.
9) Befriend the last one (jump in the head within the last seconds left from the clock sketch lenght so you are safe ) and you have finished.
IF YOU FAIL (blotworx destroyed by your hand or not), exit quickly and reload.
