How to unlock the The Bigger They Are... achievement in Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two - Definitive Guide
The Bigger They Are... - Defeated Prescott's mechanical creation
Story related.
Use thinner on the armor three times, each time hitting back a fire ball. Easy enough.
If you went through the projector by turning invisible, jumping up the side, and sneaking past the eye you have to fight Prescott twice.
The first time, use thinner on the three things hanging down around him. Use the TV attack to distract him, go behind and fill up the tank with thinner. Do this three times. Then fight as described above.
If you vote negative, at least say why so the solution can be changed. These are both ways of how I got the achievement, so they do work.

Thanks. Knowing that I could disable the turret's refueling was a lifesaver. Voted positive.
I'm afraid I was a bit confused by your solution at first because I didn't realize you were referring to the turret. I don't think Prescott is inside the turret, so at first I thought the "If you went..." paragraph referred to a different encounter.
You might also want to emphasize that you should only fill one tank to overflowing. Either thinner or paint will do. I kept trying to fill both, but one goes down if the other goes up. I was making it way too hard.
I also didn't see a TV to distract the turret. Please clarify.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the clarification. I agree the TV Sketch is helpful; I didn't have it on my first playthrough. Buy it from the Main Street South Emporium after talking to the Main Street South conductor.
For the second monster, I found it easier to take the Paint method. Just hit back the cannonballs. Eventually he'll throw objects at you. Stand on top of one of the 6 panels. After 3 hits by the objects, the panel opens, revealing a gear to paint or a station for Oswald to power. Once all 6 panels are activated, large doors will close on the monster, defeating him.
