How to unlock the No Boost Needed achievement in Disney Fairies Hidden Treasures - Definitive Guide

This one might take you a bit. The course is random, and sometimes you can't avoid the pixie dust in a given race. Also, sometimes the cart picks up the dust even when you think you won't hit it.

The main thing is to pass the cart under the dust whenever you can. If you go over, the game will probably pick it up for you. So stay at the bottom of the lane unless you absolutely have to move up. Also, I found that (personally) taking the "hard" jump (there's no actual difficulty) gives you a little more time with nothing in front of you, just make sure you move to the bottom because there's always dust right after the jump.

Last thing: the game has a bad habit of being jumpy depending on how your PC is. That makes it hard to do this right. So the race is a bit chaotic to get through as easily as it really should be. Then again, it's a lot easier than the balloon race in the 4th episode.

EDIT: knight0fkh0nshu reminded me that you can hit as many obstacles as you want, as long as you don't hit the pixie dust. There's going to be no way around that, but don't worry about it. There's no penalty.

Just want to add to your solution Sasha, you can hit the obstacles and still get the achievement - just as long as you don't hit the pixie dust. That helped me a lot when trying to get this. There isn't a "health" bar.

I found it easiest to take the shortcuts.

There are no green pixie dusts on shortcut routes, and the golden dust is easily avoidable after the cutscene by simply driving at the very bottom of the track.

This cuts out quite a substantial section that could cause you issues.

I'd like to add: ANY pixie dust you see in the middle can be avoided by going to the bottom of the screen, never drive to the top as it seems to be slightly higher up than you think. I avoided every single pixie dust doing so.

Great tip. Got it first try just running into things on purpose!
