One great little tip in order to control better the Cart is to hold the left button of the mouse and then steer by moving it up and down, instead of clicking in the position you want.
By doing that, it is easier to maneuver through the obstacles that are close to each other. I was having hard issues by just clicking up and down.

Thanks for the tip on holding the mouse button down, made this so much easier, got it on the first try this way.

This one might take you a bit. The game has a bad habit of being jumpy depending on how your PC is. That makes it hard to do this right. So the race is a bit chaotic to get through as easily as it really should be. Then again, it's a lot easier than the balloon race in the 4th episode.
Taking the "hard" jump will be a bit easier since there are few less obstacles to avoid. Just be careful, close all the other programs you have open and hope that the game doesn't skip around all that much. It isn't actually difficult, but if it jumps, it can be frustrating.
