How to unlock the Character Elite achievement in Disney Infinity - Definitive Guide

I've done this in the Toybox ...

You first need a car (Cars Pack or Incredibles for example) and the fan (I unlocked it in the Disney Infinity Vault).

Go into the Toybox and placed the fan (several are better).
Now you have to jump the car to the fans that the car floats in the air. Now you can perform many tricks (with the right stick).
It is important that you remain in the air for as long as possible, make a lot of tricks, and then you land the trick clean (otherwise it does not count).
It may can be that you have to do after landing still a little trick on the floor that you see the experience.

With this method I have used approx one hours per character to level 15th.

Another tip: do this in a complett empty Toybox. Then there are no opponents.

I hope i could help.

PS: Sorry for my horrible englishredface

This guide is for the few that can not seem to get the fan (like me). I have tried and tried and only have a few more levels to get and still no fan -.-

Load a prebuilt/ empty toybox then go to the landscapes build page.
choose the next size down from the largest.
line it up to one of the sides of the existing land and raise it all the way up to the top of the map.
place the infinity hub on this top platform making sure that the purple and green sides are facing the existing land (the one at the bottom).
Then simply spawn a car at the top and drive it off the edge.
do the tricks in the air making sure the alternate the tricks (you get more points)
when you land at the bottom be sure to jump and do 1 more trick so it registers the points.
Then simply drive off the edge.
This will spawn you at the top.
Rinse.
Repeat

This Achievement can be done FAR easier and less monotonous than the car over a cliff solution if you have 2.0, but there's a catch.

If you start up 2.0 and try to play as one of your 1.0 figures it will give you the option to "Share Ownership" or "Play as Guest". Do NOT pick the "Share Ownership" option. For whatever reason, 1.0 doesn't like to share, maybe it just wasn't programmed for it. 2.0 and 3.0 both have the share option and WILL share your progress across games and PLATFORM. I leveled up Star-Lord to level 18 on the Wii U version, started up 2.0 on the 360, picked the "Share Ownership" option, and he was added to my collection at level 18.

So, that said, it's far more EFFICIENT to level characters up in 2.0 because the whole leveling process is faster in general. That and since you have to complete all 50 levels to unlock the Achievement for the Exploration Survival mode game, you might as well use it as a level grind zone.

Which is basically what I did; I chose the "Play as Guest" option with one of my 1.0 characters, played around in 2.0 until they leveled up, then put them back in 1.0. If you pick the guest option, their progress will SAVE and be updated when the character is returned to 1.0, but that progress won't save to 2.0.

For example; I tried leveling Woody up to level 5 on 2.0 after choosing the "Share Ownership" option, but when I tried to import him back, 1.0 did not retain the progress and I had to start over because 1.0 thought Woody belonged to a different game.

I then played with Wreck-It Ralph after choosing the "Play as Guest" option and leveled him up to 15. When I brought him back to 1.0, the game updated his information based on what was saved to the figure, I got a bunch of stars and spins in the vault, and the Achievement unlocked for me. I was worried that the game would NOT count it if I leveled up a character to 15 in another version because when I transferred my level 20 Captain America, 2.0 didn't unlock that Achievement, so I planned to level characters to 14 and then ALMOST to 15 then transfer them back and finish leveling them in 1.0. However, 1.0 WILL count the progress if you level a character up in 2.0 if you choose "Play as Guest".

I also have the Tron Identity Disc Power Disc which grants you bonus XP. I've found it provides a larger bonus in 2.0 simply because the leveling process is faster there. I've leveled characters from 1 to 10 in about a half hour each playing levels in the Exploration Survival mode.

I'm going to test it now with two more characters to make sure you can level a character up in another game if playing as a guest.

Also, 2.0 and even 3.0 will give you an XP bonus depending on how many characters and power discs you have registered to the game.

UPDATE: Okay, so it seems 1.0 has trouble rectifying when a character has more XP than is possible in the original game. So if you level a game to almost exactly level 15 and stop, it should transfer over without issue provided you originally took ownership on 1.0 and played as a guest on 2.0. I leveled Rapunzel too much past 15 and 1.0 couldn't rectify the problem since 15 was the original level cap.

That, and 1.0 has trouble keeping up with the characters' progression if you level too many times as a guest. I would say level as much as you can doing the original Play Sets and Feats. Then use 2.0 as a faster way to get the characters to just under 15 to be safe.
