How to unlock the Character Elite Force achievement in Disney Infinity - Definitive Guide

I've done this in the Toybox ...

You first need a car (Cars Pack or Incredibles for example) and the fan (I unlocked it in the Disney Infinity Vault).

Go into the Toybox and placed the fan (several are better).
Now you have to jump the car to the fans that the car floats in the air. Now you can perform many tricks (with the right stick).
It is important that you remain in the air for as long as possible, make a lot of tricks, and then you land the trick clean (otherwise it does not count).
It may can be that you have to do after landing still a little trick on the floor that you see the experience.

With this method I have used approx one hours per character to level 15th.

Another tip: do this in a complett empty Toybox. Then there are no opponents.

I hope i could help.

PS: Sorry for my horrible englishredface

Thanks to vSully for making this Video:

Thanks so much for figuring this out.

I didn't have the fan or any Infinity Vault spins, so I gained a level with Mr Incredible, earning me a single spin. Then I loaded up the Infinity Vault and swapped the prizes until the fan was there. And I got it with a single spin!

Then I went to the empty toy box, placed a single fan, and spawned a car. I got in the car and slowly moved to the edge of the fan, then jumped. When positioned properly, the jump would be completely vertical and I would hover right in place indefinitely. Then I propped the right stick in a single direction for 15 or so minutes, continually doing a single trick. When I was ready to land, I'd press the left stick to the side and move out of the fan, being careful to not land incorrectly. Experience was earned upon landing. I'd repeat this process for 10-15 minutes at a time until I got each of my characters got to level 15. I'd also add ~10 tricks of each other direction before landing in case variety gave more experience. *shrug*

Very thankful that someone figured out an easy way to gain levels.

does anyone know if my kids play with a character on their profile, and then I earned level 15 on mine, would it still count? or would I have to take ownership, reset them and then do it like in skylanders?

Great solution, just wanted to add that if you screw up your landing from the fan, not to worry... just go back up and nail another trick and your previous efforts will count. you'll the xp you missed on the prior trick. thanks for the method!

Great solution, worked like a charm. I do believe you need to take ownership of the character for this to work, for any method to level 15.

I had a problem with getting on the fans without it moving me straight off.

I used the stunt car as in the vid then moved close to a fan, now press A to jump and you move enough to get caught and stay in the upstream of the fan.

Driving onto it will always throw you off the other side

Curious can you level up a character on 2.0 and put it on the stand and get the achievement that way

I tried this without taking ownership and didn't get the achievement, so make sure you have it.

This guide is for the few that can not seem to get the fan (like me). I have tried and tried and only have a few more levels to get and still no fan -.-

Load a prebuilt/ empty toybox then go to the landscapes build page.
choose the next size down from the largest.
line it up to one of the sides of the existing land and raise it all the way up to the top of the map.
place the infinity hub on this top platform making sure that the purple and green sides are facing the existing land (the one at the bottom).
Then spawn a car at the top and drive it off the edge.
do the tricks in the air making sure the alternate the tricks (you get more points)
when you land at the bottom be sure to jump and do 1 more trick so it registers the points.
Then simply drive off the edge.
This will spawn you at the top.
Rinse.
Repeat

You level you characters in Disney Infinity by collecting Sparks (blue objects found from defeating enemies and breaking objects in the world). You also gather sparks from completing quests in the play sets and winning medals in the Adventures. Completing each of the 3 starter play sets should level that character to somewhere between level 8 and 12 (depending on which play set and how many of the side quests you complete).

The quickest way to level to 15 after this is to select the Castles and Slingshots Adventure and continue getting a gold medal on it until you hit level 15. Thanks to JesseBlur for the tip.

If you have unlocked the fan from the Disney Infinity Vault, you can place it in an empty Toy Box, drive a car over it so that the car is hovering, then tape/rubber band the right stick in a direction to continuously do tricks. This still works for levelling even though sparks do not grant XP in Toy Box mode. Video courtesy of Craig Sullivan:
Note: Currently you do not gain levels from collecting sparks in Toy Box mode so quick levelling there is not an option.
