You get mulitplier's by doing good during songs. If you start singing good you will get a x2 multiplier and if you keep singing good while that mulitplier is up the muliplier will increase to up to 4 (4 is the highest mulitplier in the game). If you mess up during the multiplier the mulitplier will reset. You will also get a muliplier after the song is over and it will be anywhere from 1-4. If you don't get a x4 multiplier during the song but you get it after the song during the Score screen you will still unlock this achievement.
Also, when you get a x2 multiplier the notes will turn red. When you get a x3 multiplier the notes will turn orange. And when you get a x4 multiplier the notes will turn to gold. So that's you know when you get a multiplier.
