Here's the thing about this (and several of the other) gametype achievements: they can be earned in the story mode!

There are several Checkpoint battles (most against the "venue employees") in the Empire mode, and these count toward this acheivement. So, even if you can't get online, you can still earn this either while you're playing - or after you've finished - the Empire mode. Pick a difficulty you're comfortable with (good at, that is) and play 10 Checkpoint battles - they're clearly marked in the Empire venues. You could even play the same one 10 times, if you were so inclined. Get to it!

Easiest one to do this one is check point battle London just make sure to 100% it on easy

Depending on your level of skill this can be easy or quite hard.

Checkpoint mixes are different to DJ Battles as you only have to hit the notes in a checkpoint to win that checkpoint, where as in DJ Battles you have to hit the notes and hit them with extreme accuracy to get the 100%.

Anyways if you play online enough it shouldnt be that difficult to gain this achievement no matter what difficulty you play on, as some people who play the game arent exactly the best at it, And you can gain the Papa Said Achievement at the same time if your lucky.

Ill also add as well that winning by 3 checkpoints really isnt that hard as all mixes start off with over 10 checkpoints for each person to try and gain.

In-depth guide for those who don't have a second DJ Turntable & need to unlock this alone:

Empire Mode -> London -> DJ Kid Itch Checkpoint Battle (Option #3, poster of a side-profile of a head with wires in it)

Can be achieved on any difficulty (I think). I recommend doing this battle on Easy difficulty to easily win by way of shut-out. I did not test Beginner difficulty if someone wants to test that.

Tips about this Battle on Easy difficulty:

1) After you win, you can press "Retry" until the achievement pops. No need to return to the menu and select the mix again.

2) Kid itch will always 100% the 2nd checkpoint. If you win that checkpoint by "100%+", the shut-out should come with ease. Make sure you hit those freestyle crossfades and samples first before he does!!

3) Kid Itch will usually hit the 1st freestyle sample before you. Be sure to hit the following two fast!! (Out of my 6 plays, I got the 1st freestyle sample first, once.)

This achievement will pop as soon as the menu to retry/check statistics comes up.
