How to unlock the Freestyle Superstar achievement in DJ Hero 2 - Definitive Guide

Kind of a confusing Achievement since the game doesn't really tell you what it is grading you on.
Freestyle Cross fades, Scratches, and Samples all count toward your "Freestyle rating"

Here are some things that can help your rating on Freestyle sections:

Fading - Try spikes to one side, both sides, cross fade from one side to the other(or just go crazy moving the fader as much as possible)
If you notice there are small breaks in the line going through the freestyle fader sections, those are the best time to switch tracks

Scratches: Try scratching at different speeds through each freestyle section, short and long scratches

Samples: Really, just hit that red button as many times as you can!

I hope this helps, I got this achievement from one of the easier mixes, pretty early in Empire mode.

After you do the tutorials, you will know how Freestyling works. Getting in some mixes to practice Freestyling is a great way to understand what good Freestyling is. You should earn this by the time you’re through Empire Mode.

This is fairly straight forward, but it's hard to explain how to achieve. All you need to do is get an A rank for the freestyle sections of a song, but I'm not quite sure how they are ranked. If you go through the tutorials, listening to what they say should help you figure something out. I randomly got this, as did my friend, so you will get it at some point.

In principle, nothing complicated, just play the songs and if not the first time, then the fifth time you will succeed. To be honest, having gone through my entire career and having played about 900 online battles, I didn’t really understand how to always get an “A” rating, I either have “A” or “B”, but it seems like when there is a freestyle section, you don’t have to go too fast twist, scratch and pull, try to do everything in rhythm and to the music.
