How to unlock the Go Crazy Broadway Style! achievement in DJ Hero 2 - Definitive Guide

If you have the required hardware (the mic), this achievement is very easy. Plug it in and go to the Quick Play menu. While you breeze through the songs you notice that you find a "DJ & Vocals" right beneath of "mixed by ...." these are the songs you need to perform vocals on.

Important: You can choose every difficulty you want plus you can totally suck on those vocal performances, as long as you finish them. Start a setlist with the maximum number of songs with vocals (20), put your mic on the table and come back later. Repeat with the next bunch of DJ & Vocals songs.
There are 58 of such songs in total.

I looked it up. Seems you don`t need another controller and sing them all by yourself.

Here are some very helpful suggestions from Darth Trom. Big thanks for that =)

"#1. May be obvious, but if someone doesn't know which songs they are missing, they can usually go to the main menu, click "Rep", click "Achievements" and then scroll down to the Broadway Achievement, and it will tell you there how many more songs you lack, and at least one song that needs to be completed to get the achievement. If you find that you have sung all of the songs on quickplay and the game is telling you that you still are missing songs BUT it won't tell you which songs you are missing.... Check out #2

#2 suggestion.... You might add that if people have not completed each of the bonus setlists gigs on empire mode all of the songs may not be available immediately and achievement won't be attainable until they complete it."

Anyway good luck bros and enjoy this awesome game!

(If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I'm glad to help (; )

Edit:

AP E JC said "You should point out that if your controller is turned off in the end of the setlist, you wont gain the achievement. That happened to me. Just play another Vocal mix, and achievement unlocked."
So if that happens to you you know what to do (; Thanks for that information! =)

Also if they like the songs besides using that to keep track of which songs have already been played they can earn the Like you long time achievement.

The liking comment is probably the best option if you don't want to make setlists. Unfortunately I don't remember which songs have been "sung" so I've been doing the slow snail pace of going to rep -> achievements -> play song. Gonna be awhile... but its actually bringing up the song count as opposed to playing each song again.

I've tried playing several mixes (and using a mic) from quickplay and also from the Rep/Achievement-list, finishing the song without the controller going offline, but the progress is still at 0/58. Do you have any idea what I can do?

Figured it out.. apparently a DJ Controller can not be plugged in. Only use a mic with a normal controller to navigate in the menu.

Suggestions to add to your guide which will probably help others.

You should point out that if your controller is turned off in the end of the setlist, you wont gain the achievement. That happened to me. Just play another Vocal mix, and achievement unlocked.

i sang like 5 songs, and the rest i just had the mic and controller plugged in and left it and just sat back listened to the music and very often changed channel to watch some tv.

To avoid confusion of what id sang already, after fully completing empire mode, i entered quickplay, counted that i had unlocked all 58 mixes (switching the menu to just the vocals) and split the vocal mixes into 5 sets of 10 and a last set of 8 and then saved them (advanced options) after each ten songs id go into the advanced menu and delete that set list. i did this achievement over 3 days, as its dull.

Easy and most Simple way...

Goto....

Rep...

Achievements (Search Go Crazy Broadway Style!)
It will tell you which song you need to advance...

Press A and it will take you straight to it and play the next track with vocals you require,

Rince & Repeat until it pops!

**You dont need to hit any note as long as you play through it**
Just use your standard controller to select all of the above, no need for the turntable, Just make sure the controller is signed in as you and not another gamertag

On a side note, if your not fussed about the singing, and have some spare time, go to quick play and it has mixes by DJ & Vocal then DJ Only..... just add the DJ & Vocal Songs all to a quick play list (this may require 2/3 playlists full of songs), start it off sit back and just wait a whole bunch of time for it to go through the setlist

As mentioned in the Introduction, you should have the Vocals activated at all times. You don’t necessarily have to sing as the sound from the game will get picked up a little and you’ll get some points. Every song that supports vocals has to be played through with the Vocals active. You can track your progress in the Trophies section of the Rep menu.

Another method is to make long setlists in Quickplay and have the Vocals active. You don’t even need to be there to get a score, you just have to play through each song with Vocals on. So you can set up a long setlist, play it and walk away for a half hour. Rinse, repeat.

There are 58 songs that support vocals in DJ Hero 2. If you think it will be hard to find them, don't worry. When you pick Quickplay with the controller and mic, the game will automatically filter the list to show the Vocal songs. You can set up playlists of 20 songs and just pick each one until you get the achievement.

This must be done with just a controller and not a turntable. You may get progress for having songs finished, but the achievement will not unlock if you do this with a turntable.

Go into a quick game, make a set list of the maximum number of songs, turn up the volume of the TV or speakers, put the microphone next to the speakers, and it seems like you need to turn off the sound on the microphone, and do other things, you will have to repeat this about 4 times once because There are about 50 songs to be sung, and the set list may only have 12 songs, or maybe I just made sheets of 12 songs, I don’t remember, but it doesn’t matter, I wrote the basic mechanics.
