How to unlock the Got ID? achievement in DJ Hero 2 - Definitive Guide

Simply play a game online once, this will then unlock your first medal and emblem and equip any of the new medals/emblems your earned and this achievement will pop.

It will not pop if you try to choose the default ones that are already open to you at the start of the game.

Do ya have to win, BC I didn't and I got no new anything. I'm new to the game.

You actually have to win an online battle to earn a new medal.

To unlock this achievement you must change both your medal and your tag.
You can unlock a medal by winning your first battle. If you don't manage to win, playing two battles will earn you your first tag. If you're still unable to win, a medal unlocks for playing five games.
Once you've earned a tag and medal, go into each section (you may have to scroll down to find the new unlocked medal/tag) and equip any option other than the default. The achievement should pop as soon as you leave the section.

UNOBTAINABLE due to online shutdown

Go to the Online menu and select Tags and change it. Do the same thing for your Medals.

To set your Live Tag and Medal, you will first need to play a Battle round online. Tags and Medals are unlocked by meeting stipulations (such as 500 successful taps or first online win). Once you unlock something other than the default Tag and Medal, just change them and you'll unlock this.

For victories, streaks, etc. online they give you titles and medals, after receiving them go to the main menu online, there you can select a character, medals, titles, etc.
