How to unlock the Microphonical Magic! achievement in DJ Hero 2 - Definitive Guide
I did this on the song "Busta Rhymes - "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See"
But that's not what this guide is for. The main trick part here is to use a wired mic. Wireless mics, like the Lips one, do not register correcttly the rap parts, so grab a GH:world tour wired mic and continuously hit some hard surface, as long as you can keep it up for 200 notes you will get the achievement.

Plug in Microphone and sign in on controller... no Dj board needed.
Rock Band, Karaoke Revolution, and Lips have seemed to master the vocal pickup system... but DJ Hero2 and Guitar Hero seem to have the toughest games to keep streaks on. Regardless, I got this in less than 10 minutes so it's not really impossible. Remember, you must treat this achievement more like a vocal achievement than a DJ achievement.
There are two genre's of vocals in most vocal games: Spoken vocals (rap) and Tonal vocals (melodic/musical). Melodic vocals look like long slender tubes that are placed in different length's and height levels to show how long notes should be sustained and how high and low the notes should be sung. Spoken vocals look like green dots. Spoken vocals are easiest to get high streaks on because all they require is sound to be registered. When a spoken vocal is missed it turns dark (black/grey) and when a vocal is hit it turns white. You want to see a lot of white! One word turns black and you will lose your streak. You can also look at the total right under your score and see how your streak is. Miss a note and it returns to zero.
On games requiring high vocal streaks, choose rap songs that have relatively few melodic vocals. In Quickplay, I chose the first option: Message & Jungle Boogie because the majority of the song is a long streak of rap.
The game does not register if you are saying exactly the right words, so if you cannot read the script fast enough... don't panic. CREATE A Repititive syllable to replace the words. "I used Dig-a-Dig-a.".. saying it at a rather fast tempo (sixteenth notes if you know musical subdivision) Don't worry about the first verse where there are some actual musical notes. But once the rap starts... get a good breath and keep the syllables coming.... Breathe at the ends of phrases... BUT MAKE THEM QUICK...
If you have a fast and strong enough tongue, keep the syllables going even when the rappers aren't rapping because sometimes they tend to jump in and start before I thought the words started. This will end your streak prematurely.
Melodic vocals are much harder to keep streaks going because the pitch element comes into play. Again, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A RAP SONG FOR THIS ACHIEVEMENT! Be loud enough into the mike that sound can pick up the syllables.
Some people use fans blowing into mike to register sound on non-tonal vocals. I cannot confirm if this particular technique will work but if my suggestions did not work, then you might try this as a backup plan.

For this one, I used a thick guitar pick. If you are righty, put the mic in your left hand and just flick back and forth the whole song (lefties, vice-versa). You don't need to spam it too fast, but just make sure you get to 200, then just finish the song.

Worked perfectly, thanks!

BACKGROUND: I was thinking on a different way to do this, since the "fan trick" does not work and the song "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See/Pump Up The Volume" don't help at all, specially if you don't want to breathe like crazy trying to catch all the phrases.
Suddenly while tapping the mic and breathing on a rap part, i noticed that the mic registered that tap.
So I decided to give it a try.
SOLUTION: Sit down. Hold your microphone between your knees (by the way, a wired one works much, much better than a wireless like the one on lips), let the metallic part of the mic go outside a little bit. Then, with the tips of your fingers, hit it with a fast rhythm. Worked at 100% on the first try.
I also got this achievement on the same song:
TIP: You can also use the drumsticks of your Rock Band drumkit, but only if you have the tiny plastic silencers that goes on the top. Worked as a charm that way as well!
PS. If you want to give a negative feedback, please explain why... don't be a jerk.

There are a large number of songs that this will be obtainable on, but since you need to 100% a song for another achievement, there is no point in trying to list which songs work best for this. Any of the songs you can easily 100% have more than 200 notes.
Posting this here as not all solutions posted have this level of detail I'm about to drop.
This solution mixes AP E JC's (Top/1st) solution with Darth Trom's solution along with an important comment left by BastiXS96.
In order to unlock this achievement, your profile must be on Vocals as Player 1. To do this:
Having said this, the second issue I had was since all that I posted above was not clear in one solution, I ended up playing the mix TWICE with my DJ Turntable as Player 1 & my regular controller plugged in as Player 2 which was assigned to my microphone without the achievement popping.
Hope this helps anyone going for these achievements in 2024 and beyond. Good luck.

In order to unlock this achievement, your profile must be on Vocals as Player 1. To do this:
1) Go to the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
2) Make sure your DJ Turntable is disconnected.
3) Connect your regular Xbox 360 controller.
4) Make sure your wired microphone is also connected.
5) Launch DJ Hero 2 with your regular controller.
6) Select Quickplay
7) Pick "Busta Rhymes / MARRS - Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See vs. Pump up the Volume"
8) There is no difficulty selection for all vocal mixes.
9) Use a blunt object to continuously rub the microphone to reach 200 vocal streak. (I used a bottle cap)
10) Let the song play out after achieving the 200 streak or also go for 100% vocal achievement.
11) Achievement will pop at the results screen.
The two issues I was having is that One, DJ Hero 2 does not allow you to disconnect your turntable controller at the main menu and then plug in a regular controller while the game is playing. It prompts you to "Quit Game" after connecting your regular controller. If this happens to you just say yes to go back to the title screen then press start to re-enter the main menu.2) Make sure your DJ Turntable is disconnected.

Using your microphone, play any song with vocals and get a 200 vocal streak. Pick a straight rap song such as ?Busta Rhymes - Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See/ House of Pain - Jump Around. Since vocal pick up isn’t the greatest on this game, you may find yourself having a hard time getting a streak going. You can try blowing into the mic, tapping it or rubbing it against a couch cushion.
