How to unlock the Scratching The Itch achievement in DJ Hero 2 - Definitive Guide
Getting this acievement is quite simple really,
Just play the game. Every action you do in the game will accumulate.
If you are unsure of how many scratches you have left to do you can go to Rep in the main menu then go to achievements and there is a tracker on each achievement.
Obviously the harder the the difficulty you play on the more scratches, taps and crossfades you will have to perform, thus making it add up a little quicker.
And thats about it really. Fairly simple :D
Edit: A note for those of you who, like me, suck at scratching. The counter WILL increase when playing on beginner, where you just have to hold down any button to scratch. Hope this helps you out. - KurtIsKaos

You may get less scratches on Expert difficulty as you cannot scratch as fast as you can unless it's a freestyle scratch pad.
You have to do the scratching a certain way on Expert and are probably better off on Hard or lower to get more scratches towards this.

This will probably be the last preform countdown achievement u get. Mostly because many of the songs in the game are more tap crazy. If u r someone who wants this achievement as fast as u can get it I suggest playing the last songs in the quikplay setlist. Also look at he complexity of scratches, play all the ones that are at least halfway filled.

If you're grinding this, don't use rewind. Notes played during rewind doesn't count to your streak and this achievement. I tested this by playing same song twice, first without rewinds and then using rewinds. You can track your progress Main Menu - Rep - Achievements.

This will come with time depending on which difficulty you play. The higher the difficulty, the more scratches there will be. Playing through Empire Mode will get you there, if not, very close.
This one will come with time. If you play on Expert, then it will take about a full Empire Mode playthrough and a half. Since you'll need to play a crap ton of online to get the full 1000, then this will be unmissable.

Just go through the career, play a quick game and online, do other achievements and sooner or later you will get this achievement.
