This is very easy :-)

Just play the game. Every action you do in the game will accumulate.

But can be timeconsumpting ...

choose pro-mode ... just tap tap tap tap tap ... worked for me today :-)
freestyle-areas count as much as you tap

in quickplay sort the songs at the difficulty and choose the one with the most difficulty in the "tab-bar"
for example "galvanize"

I believe the freestyle taps, crossfades and scratches all count towards the achievements in this game. I got the crossfades one popped way before the other two because I was just flicking the switch left and right as fast as I could.
I got this one today, playing on Expert also helps aswell as the freestyle sections as you cannot fail songs. Expert has a lot of everything. The scratches are probably better off on Hard though.

Empire and
Online

If you want to find out your progrss toward this then from main menu select rep then achievements.

other stats for fades scratches and various wins etc can also be found under its appropriate achievement description

This achievement is one of the easiest, especially if u play a lot of the techno songs (Deadmau5,Tiesto,David Guetta,etc.). All the songs in the game are more tap crazy then scrath/crossfade crazy.

This will come with time depending on which difficulty you play. The higher the difficulty, the more taps there will be. Playing through Empire Mode will get you there, if not, very close.

Taps are much more frequent in DJ Hero 2, but this still will take about 2 complete playthroughs of Empire Mode to achieve. Unless you're a god at DJ Hero and can 5 star everything on Expert in 1 go, I doubt you will miss this when all is said and done.
