How to unlock the Harsh Fader achievement in DJ Hero - Definitive Guide

This Achievement unlocks after you have cumulatively performed 5,000 crossfader moves. This includes both simple shifts as well as spikes. You'll earn it faster on harder difficulty levels because there tend to be more fader moves and spikes, provided you can master the timing. Make all your moves clean and sharp, as timing can be finicky on whether a crossfader shift is deemed successful.

You will eventually unlock this cheevo by going after the Grandmaster achievement and Win Online achievements; especially if you use Groundhog by Noisia to win each of your 10 matches. There is no need to specifically go for this achievement; by trying to complete all the others (except for 5-stars in hard and expert) you will easily get this one.

I don't think there is any way to track them, but if you get the Grandmaster achievement and Win Online achievements you should get it by then.

Is there any glitch for this achievement? I finished the game, got the 5 stars on medium, got many stars on hard, I also played random tracks and still no achievement.

Another acumulative trophy. The crossfader is the thing which you can move from right to left or keep in the middle. Just keep playing and this should come.

If you want to boost this trophy go to "The Vinyl Cut" and select "Groundhog". Dont worry about anything else than crossfader moves but if you want to boost "Super scratchin'" you can also scratch. Note that in beginner and easy difficulties the crossfader isnt used at all

Tip: When you move the crossfader to the middle position you just have to separate it from the side, this makes it alot easier.
Tip: When you use euphoria the crossfader works by itself, but make shure it is in the position at the end so that you dont lose your combo.

Crossfades are quite easy, you just need to play more often the mixes that have the most of them.
