How to unlock the DJ Alpha Live achievement in DJMAX RESPECT V - Definitive Guide

Same as Steam: you must play a song in Free Style to consider that song your favourite one in Collection (Play Info TAB, Music Data).

Then, you have to play it in Air Mode. Try to do it before the DLC's added, because those songs can be added to the Air Mode rotation, making this achievement a little bit harder.

This isn't unlocking for me for some reason. Played 3 favourite songs in a row with no luck :(

It needs to be your #1 Favorite song at the top of the list in your collection. I tried to play the ones in my top 10 in AIR and was wondering why it didn't pop, but when I played my #1 song, it popped immediately. I'm not sure if autoplay needs to be off or not, but I would recommend turning it off just in case

May go without saying, but the #1 favorite song is based on your most played song and has nothing to do with the songs you have marked as favorites in Freestyle mode. Truly RNG here.

I think the Air rotation may skip some unlockable songs, but not dlc. My #1 is Dance of the Dead, a Respect song, and haven’t seen it come by yet after waiting all day. Might just be bad luck.

Edit: Collaboration and Portable 1 songs pop up a lot in rotation. might be worth getting a couple close in play count so you can get one to #1 if you feel its coming up. Seems to be in chunks of song category>acsending/descending alphabetically and jumps around like that. Did mine with 'Holy Order'
