This can be easily boosted by finding a partner and matching with them, if you manage to get in the same game both players just need to play a single note and have the exact same score. There likely will be less people trying to matchmake in 8 button mode, so that may help to end up in the same match as well along with making sure that both players are the same rank or close to it (I was Silver III while my partner was Silver IV and we matched together multiple times).

I really don't think this will be all that possible without boosting unless both players manage to 100% at the same time.
