How to unlock the Thank You for Playing achievement in DJMAX RESPECT V - Definitive Guide

Patch is now live as of Oct. 20th


This achievement unlocks upon reaching player level 100 and unlocking the Dream It music video as Arcade Mode is absent from this release.

I was 98% into 99 after Patch. I played 1 song, unlocked the Video, and watched the full thing in the collection under music videos. Achievement pops after the full video plays.

The V Extension DLC allows an earlier unlock as the song Dream It becomes available to play and can unlock an alternate video. Still waiting on verification if this works on the Xbox release

It should be noted that this achievement is currently glitched across both versions as watching the Dream It ~DJMAX RESPECT V Credit~ video will not unlock the achievement even though this is the unlock condition from the Steam release.

Dream It is V Extension DLC. We don't have the song yet.

You can get the credits video without having the DLC, otherwise it would be a DLC achievement. The issue is that the trigger for the achievement to unlock isn't working right now, so it needs to be fixed before the achievement can be unlocked.

Shouldn't this be flagged as unobtainable for the time being? And even if the DLC is released eventually and makes this achievement possible, I believe they have to fix the issue because requiring DLC to pop base game achievements is against Microsoft's guidelines

Yes it should, and yes, they have to fix it regardless even if the DLC trigger works because you cannot have paid achievements.

(Unsure if you need V Extension Pack and if you need to play Dream It)
(As stated in the Xbox version of this achievement in this forum, it appeared to be glitched, and I am unable to verify if it is still the case for Xbox version)

Reach level 100

Go to Collection -> Music Video

Scroll down until you find a video called Dream It ~DJMAX RESPECT V Credit~

Play it until the end and when you return to the music video menu you will get it.

I can confirm that as of 6/29/2024 this achievement is fixed.
