To exit the basement you need to open the combination lock. To solve this puzzle you need to read 4 notes that are in the basement. One is on the shelf next to the bed, the second is on the washing machine, the third is on the wall of the open freezer, the fourth is on the table next to the open freezer. Each note has a clue with text, the text describes one of the four paintings that hang in the basement. Also, on each note in the upper right corner, if you turn the note, you will see a number that indicates the serial number for the combination lock. Having studied the description of the notes, we begin to examine the paintings. Each picture has a number in red, although due to the poor lighting in the game, these numbers are not always clearly visible. The numbers from the paintings will need to be entered on the combination lock in the sequence in which the painting data was indicated in the notes. While going through this riddle, I noticed that in the game some pictures are periodically replaced by other pictures. And when you come across a set of paintings: where a girl is riding a sleigh with a man and a painting of a girl sitting in a room or a cave, then these paintings must be swapped when entering numbers into the lock. Apparently this is one of the glitches of the game or localization. Having entered the code on the lock, click on the triangle and after opening it, we receive the first trophy “I am a genius” for completing the first puzzle. Immediately after opening the combination lock, they will begin to break into the door, and we will need to quickly hide in the closet that we saw to the left of the note with a hint for the combination lock. Hiding in the closet will give us the "Hide!" trophy. After the inscription appears that we can leave, we leave the closet and leave the basement, at the same time we receive the trophy that we were working on.
