While you can get through the Cyberman ship without disabling the Cybermen, it's definitely in your interest to disable them (unlocking this trophy), as they'll remain deactivated and you'll have fewer to worry about dodging while travelling through the ship.
Early on while on the Cyberman ship, you will enter a large open room with a monitor. Use the monitor and you will be in control of a Cybermat. While controlling the Cybermat, run into a Cyberman to disable it and unlock this trophy.
