How to unlock the Dodging Master achievement in Dodgeball Academia - Definitive Guide

on mission 2, one of the side quests is to find a garbage picker, when you go into the school, the guy at the front desk will ask you to watch the front desk.

the first fight during this is a 1 on 1 fight with a slow moving enemy, and its very easy to complete it here.

Perfect solution! If you mess up, you can just restart that battle as well! I accidentally caught the ball the first round, restarted it, and then defeated the enemy which then the achievement popped! Thanks!

Does it matter if your teammate gets hit? I couldn’t get it on day 1 so I’m trying on day 2 and can manage fine, but my teammate does get hit sometimes.

There is a ton of dialogue in this game so be prepared for a lot of reading or simply skip everything by double tapping cn_Y
-
Also not that once you initiate a fight you can go to (options/accessibility/difficulty) and from there make your damage taken 0% and damage dealt 400%
-
Try to get this out of the way as early as possible with a person you fight solo to make it easier on yourself.

I agree with the glitched post. I've done this a dozen times through chapter 2 and it hasn't popped for me.

Hmm, this unlocked my first time doing this in ep 2, but not in the 2-3 times I did it in ep 1. Maybe it's just not possible to get in ep 1?

I think this trophy might be glitched. I did it multiple times and it still hasn’t popped. I don’t catch the ball, counter it, or get it while I’m at 0% damage taken and 400% damage dealt and nothing happens. When the enemy throws a ball I just move around so the ball goes somewhere else and after doing that I get the ball and knock them out and nothing pops up.

Edit: I finally got the achievement. At the beginning of episode 2 there’s a guy by the right stairs in the center area that gives you a side quest to get the grabber rod. I went inside the main class building and after talking to the green headed guy I was thrown into a match and the first match that happens is against just one enemy. I moved around making sure not to catch or get hit and after doing that and knocking him out the achievement popped for me. It could also be something where you might have to completely close the game and reopen it for the achievement to pop as it should.

This one is fairly self-explanatory, but didn't unlock for me until I did it multiple times. Oviously the theory here to only move by walking around the court and throwing balls. You want to dodge only (no catching or countering balls) and avoid getting hit throughout a full battle. I got this after my fourth of fifth successful attempt when fighting the kid outside the school that has the side-quest running throughout the game, so it's possible it doesn't work from the random encounters with the red fist icon. Regardless, keep trying against various opponents and it'll unlock at some point.

Apparently damage to allies is counted as damage received, and the trophy does not drop.
