You can unlock this as soon as you enter the school grounds at the very beginning, just go left then up until you see a couple of orange courts. There will be a few balls near the benches and 4 people on the left orange court, just keep hitting the same person 10 times.

Right at the beginning of the game after the intro fight scenes in the main square, collect a ball off of the ground and walk up to an NPC and throw the ball at them 10x (facing towards them and pressing X, this has to be done outside of a match so do it in the school grounds.
