Here is a general outline of how this fight will play out:

Phase 1: Do not bother trying to hit the boss directly. Simply kill the tentacles coming out of the ground. I used a 2 hand sword's heavy attack to kill them in 1 hit each. The important thing is to just never stop moving, as you'll be attacked from directly below where you stand.

Phase 2: Once you killed the tentacles, you will now have to dodge 4 waves of attacks. Set yourself up in the center of the room before each attack. I would not bother trying to hit the boss. Just focus on dodging. You'll encounter 1 of 2 attacks.

• First attack: the room fills up with dots on the ground. These will bloom into tentacles that will probably kill you if you're caught in them. You must locate the safe spot, which is the spot that has nothing in it, and get there as quickly as possible. You have plenty of time to find it, so just stay calm and look. Once you're there, stay as far from the tentacles as possible until the attack ends.

• Second attack: You will be chased by tentacles coming up from the ground, and they will keep coming out and stay where they are until the attack ends. You need to ensure you have space to continue moving forward, and not get cornered. Just keep walking/running, and draw yourself a small circle and just keep spiraling around creating larger circles.

Phase 3: This phase is the same as phase 1. You should reach phase 4 once you killed the tentacles again.

Phase 4: You may now approach the boss and kill it normally. Be aware that it creates some fire in areas around the arena, so try not to stand in those. Otherwise it's a very straightforward fight from this point on. The boss will not move at all, and you're free to simply dodge when an attack is coming out, and attack a couple times in between.
