Easiest way to do this.
Create an opening batsmen in Career mode, this means that you will be opening in every match and once you get out / innings end you can skip the rest of the match until you come out to bat again.
2000 runs will come naturally over around 2 seasons but to make it quicker you can just slog every ball and if you get out quit to home and the quit the app and when you load it up it will take you back to your last save. If you do this to get 100/200 every innings then you will get this achievement well within the first season.
