Make sure you don't have the disable repetition bonus activated. ( red X with arrows going around it) you can see bonuses at top center of screen.
Now just go down the list of duplicate recipes. Achievement will pop before you get to end of list. (if it says episode 1 or 2 Do it on episode 2.

Didn't work for me. But I noticed that, when I checked on Ep. 1, I had a lot of findings still missing, despite doing them in #2. I did all the missing ones (including "Flower" and "Apple" for plants - do the Philo-Stone with Grass for Flower, then Flower and Tree for Apple), then went down the list again.
Only four reactions are not doable on Ep. 1, specifically the Sun and Sea ones, so I did those four on Ep. 2. That didn't work, so I redid Ep. 3's dupe pairs. Then Ep. 4's. Mostly through #4, I ended up getting it with "Underground + Elf = Drow". I could have sworn I did that one, and it is on the spreadsheet.
Thoughts:
1) Everyone might have missed one they thought they did. The game has gotten monotonous, a one trick pony, so we're probably losing focus and marking off more than we did.
2) Some matches may be missing, especially on Ep. #1 if you don't finish it fully before #2 starts. They may be required - IE: ALL COMBINATIONS, not just the alternative ones that duplicate another reaction.

I cannot get this to unlock and have gone through the duplicates twice! Any suggestions on what else I can try?
