How to unlock the Overkill achievement in DOOM (1993) - Definitive Guide

E3M4 is where you can most easily get this achievement. I made a video below to guide people where to go. I open up the map for several seconds so you can compare rooms, I already picked up the BFG before hand but I still show the location of it. There is a singular imp in the next room which you can shoot with the BFG to get the achievement.

E3M3 was the first place I found the BFG. Near the beginning pretty much. Pick up the invulnerability in the "upside down candy cane" shaped area on the left side from the starting point. It's at the bottom of the stairs. Right up the steps from there is a lava floor maze with one weak enemy in there (on the easiest difficulty) and the BFG is also in that area. It's not a very large maze so everything will be relatively easy and quick to find.

At the very end of E3M3, right before the exit, there are three baddies. Just pop two of them with the shotgun then blast off the BFG. So long as you make sure it's the last one in the area, achievement should pop .

Somehow I got this while clearing out a small room of about 5 enemies. I'm pretty sure they all died at once, too.
