How to unlock the Bot Buddy achievement in DOOM 3: BFG Edition - Definitive Guide

The first Sentry Bot (Doom 3 Campaign) that will allow you to take this achievement is located in EnPro Entrance. You will have to guide him through Control 1, Unidentified and Maintenance 1 to his end point in Power Core Access. If you play on Recruit difficulty when going for this, you're pretty much guaranteed to get the achievement.

There are over a dozen enemies that attack you, comprised of Imps and Maggots. Make sure to place yourself between the Sentry Bot and the enemies. The Sentry can shoot through/around you well enough to deal damage to all enemies, but the enemies can only hit you. 6-8 Imps and Maggots will spawn in very quick succession in Maintenance 1, so be on your guard.

In the second chapter of the lost mission campaign bring the bot to the end of its path without it being destroyed. Alot easier on lowest difficulty. Where to find the bot, all health and ammo locker code shown in video!

You'll easily get this if you go play on Recruit but if you don't, when you see a Sentry BRight before you enter the room to the final boss or the cutscene to the final boss, turn to the left and you should see a secret area which contains the id logo. See the video below, just press on the ID logo and the trophy will unlock.ot make sure you stay right near it and shoot who ever gets in its path. I always had the Sentry Bot reach its destination on Recruit, difficulty even when I left it fight on its own.

This is very simple to do with the first combat engaged Sentry Bot that you find, which is located at EnPro Entrance. Just make a save before you proceed and if it dies, load and try again. It should be noted that they CAN be destroyed; they can just take a lot of damage. Try and protect it the same way it protects you. It’s a team effort you know.
