How to unlock the Goody Finder achievement in DOOM 3: BFG Edition - Definitive Guide

Below is a link to a comprehensive guide to all the storage lockers, doors and all other 3 digit codes found in the game. While you only need to unlock all the storage lockers for the achievement, it's always handy to have every code at the ready in case you can't be bothered to open your PDA and troll through it for the right code.

Enjoy!

EDIT: This may be glitched. I popped this one locker early, so I didn't mention it, but nhlkoho popped it 5 lockers early. Needless to say, this is a good glitch, but it could mean it might not pop even if you open all lockers. If anyone else is experiencing glitches with this, drop a comment.

EDIT: According to Rhhe82, he unlocked this achievement by killing an Imp with a shotgun. Now, as he was close to the last locker (which is close to the second last locker), this could be a case of the achievement taking a REALLY long time to pop, or it could mean that this achievement is INCREDIBLY glitched. Anyone else have any similar experiences?

This one is definitely glitched - I just popped it by fighting an imp in Central Processing, Lab A Upper Floors. I wasn't opening any lockers, I didn't even see one, although there was one locked locker just around corner, number #669.

My guess is the achievement system only counts how many lockers you have opened, and counter information is not stored in a savefile. (That is why you can get some of the kill-related achievements by loading the game and killing the same monsters again).

This may be glitched. It unlocked for me right after opening the storage locker in Delta Labs 4 right before getting to hell. I've opened another 5 since then.

Yeah, I got it on the second last locker. I figured it wasn't worth a mention if it was only one locker out, but if you got it 5 out, I'll make an edit.

Yeah, but those have different locker numbers. The 1 or 2 with the same number and code isn't enough for it to unlock 5 early.

Of course, that doesn't quite explain why I got the achievement by shooting an imp with a shotgun...

Well, that's a surreal unlock... I've edited my solution again to reflect your unlock, which also explains my thoughts on the matter. We'll see what crops up from other TAers, I guess.

Indeed. I should point out that it shouldn't be the case of achievement popping up with an incredible delay - the imp I was fighting took place before I reached the two lockers. So that would be "faster than light" popping ;)

In any case, I was thinking that if the reason for this behaviour is because of game's internal counter for opened lockers, it may be the the open locker next to #669 is actually closed, and then opened when player enters its vicinity and it then counts as opening a locker.

This popped for me earlier in Delta lab 3. Pretty sure it was locker 317 as five minutes later, I found another locker in the security room.

About 3/4 of the way down the page lies a neat table of cabinet/door unlock codes.

This page looks neater than that other guide website I used as a solution for the other collectible achievements. Enjoy!

Note: The Mars City armory can only be unlocked after "all hell breaks loose" :D

Good luck! Remember to stay alert: miss one and you most likely will not get the achievement.

EDIT: Looks like submitting the guide removed my neat-looking formatting for the codes so they didn't look all crowded together. Oh well, if you want less eye strain go look at the link.

Bad thing about this is that it doesn't tell you the locations of the lockers. What's the point in that if you can't find them? Some are not so easy to find...

First solution's website is much better.

I like it, they are in order. I will give you thumbs up as soon as I pop a cheev in the game. They are stingy on the cheevs.

I found a video with all the PDAs, video logs and storage lockers.
Credits go to MrReign420!
I hope it helps :)

Note: He forgot one PDA in Alpha Labs 1. It´s on a desk in "EPD Particle Emulsifier" near the switch that extinguishes the fire!
Also he forgot the "Specimen Stasis Museum" video disc in Delta Labs 2B: Lift Access!
The "Goody Finder" achievement seems to be glitched...I unlocked it quite early at the end of Delta Labs 3!

There are 32 storage lockers in the Doom 3 campaign (this doesn't include Martian lockers or other such code lockers/rooms that don't say "storage locker" on them. Here is a link to my thread with video guides for all of them: DOOM 3: BFG Edition - All PDAs, Lockers and Video Logs Guide

For this achievement, you must locate and open all storage lockers in the main game of Doom 3. Good thing about these is most of them you will encounter throughout the game without having to do much serious searching, which is pretty much just like the other collectable achievements.

NOTICE: This achievement appears to be glitched in a good way, unlocking earlier than expected. Some have reported it unlocking in Delta Labs 3/4 instead of later on.

It would be best to have up THIS thread with the storage locker codes while you are going through the game so that you do not have to search through your PDA to find the codes.

Please visit THIS post for a spreadsheet of all collectables found in chronological order.
