How to unlock the Until It Is Done achievement in DOOM + DOOM II - Definitive Guide

For anyone having trouble getting this to pop. I did it on the first level of DOOM 2 with respawning enemies. You can use IDDQD for god mode to make this easier. I recommend doing it on Ultra Violence.

For anyone struggling: Doom 1 chainsaw kills don't count. In Doom 2 it worked with the 1st level method and re-spawning enemies. No need to pick up the chainsaw IDCHOPPERS to get one works, too.

That explains why it wasn't popping for me! I kept trying in Doom 1. Thanks Scrat!

For those on Xbox without a keyboard, I did this method:

Doom 1 > Level Select > E1M2 on the Hurt Me Plenty difficulty > Select Difficulty Modifiers and make sure you select "Monsters Respawn".

I then watched this video below (not mine) to locate the chainsaw, and then just kept running around with it killing the enemies that respawn until it hit 100 kills. This is what worked for me, anyway.

Can not get this achievement to unlock, tried it with and without cheats and the progress on the tracker in game hasn’t gone up once

Apparently it only counts on Doom 2, don’t know why I didn’t think to try that 😅

Start Doom II, on the very start of the first level you can find the chainsaw on your left.
