How to unlock the Fight Like Hell achievement in DOOM Eternal - Definitive Guide

This achievement is for dealing anyone damage as a player demon. You don't have to damage the slayer, you can damage yourself or the minor demons running around to get credit towards this achievement. The Revenent demon can damage itself with its rocket attack, I'm not sure about any others. It's still time-consuming--a single cn_RT will only do about 10 damage. However, if you are boosting kills, you can sit and hurt yourself while waiting for the other guy to respawn.

So can you essentially get this by yourself just by damaging yourself?

Yep, it just takes a long time. Also, you'll need two other people to start a game.

i just got this in mission 3 cultist base. at the part where u play as the revenant to get the super shotgun just shoot rockets at ur feet. took me 5 or 10 mins tops once i got to that part :) all so keep note of ur xbox tracker and in game tracker because some comments r saying it dont work or takes a few runs at it. must be a bit buggy :(

After playing multiplayer and getting well over 5000 and the achievement not unlocking I tried you method and it worked a treat so thank you

This solution still works. I even used cheats. But I don't know exactly how it tracks the damage because I couldn't do it in one session (killing myself 5 times); I had to play the mission up to that point three times, I think.

good to know it still works thx. :) maybe the tracking to it is a bit buggy or the difficulty effects self damage some how who knows lol i cant remember what difficulty i did it on :(

This can be any damage you deal, melee, ranged, etc. You will earn this simply from attempting all of the other online achievements, though it will take some time and is likely to be one of your final online achievements, especially if you boosted them all.

You don't necessarily need to get 5000 damage at once, you can do it several times.

All network progress can be tracked from the Main Menu -> Advanced -> Stages -> Battlemode

I will try to describe in detail the possibility of obtaining this trophy with 2 players, whom you can try to find using the “LOOKING!” function in the upper right corner of the description.

To get the trophy, you need to cause 5000 damage to the Doom Slayer; doing it honestly is quite difficult and time-consuming, so below I present a list of actions for each of “their” players:

A) Go to Battlemode, create a closed game, invite 2 players, create a party with headsets and hope for a miracle that everyone will join without any problems, fortunately there are a lot of glitches and dropouts and you can just spend a lot of time waiting for one of the players ... Try logging out and re-logging in, any methods are good, but after you have received an invite and confirmed it, it is better not to touch anything in the menu at all and wait for the joint lobby to open!

B) Instructions for the EXECUTIONER
You give the opportunity to cause damage to one of the Demons, while simultaneously monitoring your health level, run in a circle and kill mobs with a chainsaw or finishing moves (shoot a mob a couple of times with a rifle)

C) Instructions for DEMONS
You run after the Executioner and cause him damage, but very carefully monitoring his health level, allowing him to recover!!!

Thus, run in a circle and perform the above actions until victory!
