How to unlock the Combat tested, Doomguy approved achievement in DOOM - Definitive Guide

Real easy, as the description says. You need to reach level 5 in multiplayer. This will come very quickly if you have played an online FPS before, i got this after my third match. Remember that you can make your own loadouts after you reach level 2 to suit your playing style. I found the premade loadouts to be lacking except for the super shotgun. I went with the combat rifle at level 2 (3?) and later with the burst rifle (which is a monster) and got top score in my third round with it.

I think this achievement bugged or glitched out on me. I'm level 7 and still no achievement (I won games after reaching level 5 as well).

It popped as soon as I started up another game and in my case, Battleborn.

Probably my most painful time with the game. The multiplayer is absolutely terrible.

This game's glitchy achievements are so frustrating. I'm like level 20 and this achievement still hasn't popped. I've tried hard resetting, deleting local content, etc. etc. UGH.

How on earth do you even find a multiplayer game now? Gave up after 20 minutes sat in lobbies trying to find a match in the 4 different playlists:/

It was really easy this weekend, with the double XP. It took me about 8 hours to get to level 50.

This is very easy to obtain. I got it in 3 matches on Team Deathmatch. My second round was very efficient though, so it could take you longer. It should certainly come within the first hour of playing online.
