How to unlock the Fashion Fanatic achievement in DOOM - Definitive Guide

With the 6.66 update, you can unlock pieces of armor such as the Evil Cultist ones by reaching a certain level or completing challenges to get the piece early as seen in this screenshot.

The earliest EC armor you can unlock by level is the CULT 1: ACOLYTE torso at Echelon 4, Level 1. However, you can unlock the Cultist pieces from Echelon 0 via challenges. (Thanks to Sushi Washi4268 and Elite1111111111 for pointing that out)

Equip the armor piece by going to Customization > Customize Character > Any Custom Suit > Armor and then go to the Evil Cultist tab (by pressing cn_LB or cn_RB to select any piece for your character.

Now jump into any pubic multiplayer match (doesn't manner which mode) and you should get the achievement when you're in the game. You DO NOT need a full set from the DLC to unlock it. Just one piece will do. Now bring hell (pun intended) on your enemies in style! wink rock

Just a note:

You don't have to reach Echelon 4, Level 1 at all.

I just got the achievement and I'm at Echelon 0, Level 25 because one of the challenges allowed me to unlock the chest piece.

All of the Cultist pieces can be unlocked from Echelon 0 through challenges. He just states the earliest you get it BY LEVEL. He probably should have stated challenges are available from the getgo though.

good to know. i had the challenges for 4 pieces already unlocked by IV and didn't even know it.

You may unlock this one quite early but if not rank up to level 44 or 50 in MP to access pieces of Evil Cultist armor, then just equip a piece in the armor customizations and wear in a MP match to earn this achievement, it should pop right away or after the match when you start a new lobby.
