This should come naturally, however, if you want to get this swiftly you can do!

I had the Vacuum rune equipped - this is the first one that you get in the game - Then i noticed that when you get the chance to use a mission crate, you can use it and restart checkpoint.

I did this on the Argent Energy Tower mission, right before you have to 'scale the tower' you go through a door and on the right, there is a UAC mission crate. There is a checkpoint right before then, just go through the door, refill and load checkpoint!

Simple as! :)

Pretty obvious one this, once you complete a rune trial you place the rune in one of your rune slots. Each rune has a challenge that needs to be completed in order for the rune to be upgraded, for instance the "Ammo Boost" rune requires that you pick up 500 ammo items, once completed your rune is upgraded and the achievement should pop.

A quick rune I managed to bang out in less than 30 seconds was "Equipment Power." During the story section early on in Level 8: Advanced Research Complex where you meet I had the Hologram Equipment active. During this section, for no particular reason I decided to mash buttons. When I clicked the , I noticed the Rune tracker for "Equipment Power" increase by one, but my usage of Hologram did not decrease from 2 to 1, and it required to recharge between uses. I mashed and went from 4 to 30 uses of Hologram in just a few seconds, thus upgrading the Rune quite easily.
A good way to get one Rune out of the way in no time in order to focus on the more labor intensive Runes.
