Doritos Crash Course 2

This is alot simpler than it may sounds.
First of all, if you haven't already unlocked a Jynx from playing through Career, I suggest buying the Doggy Jynx from the store which grants you 7 uses for only 5 stars.

To get fame you have to beat certain challenges in the game.
Once your fame meter fills up once you're rewarded with your first Fame reward.

The fame challenges I had completed at the time of this achievement were (And most probably the easiest):

Unlock 5 Split Paths - 50 Points - Easily done in career, open all of the ones in Amazon up.
Finish 15 Bonus Objectives - 100 Points - Self Explanatory, Easily done in Career progression.
Beat 25 gold medal times. - 100 POints - Not as hard as it sounds. You don't have to get a gold on every map, rather just pick a stage and grind that stage for a Gold medal if you have to, do it over again and you'll get this challenge.
Finish 10 Northern Races in 3 or less Deaths - 100 Points - Finish 10 Egypt races with less than 3 deaths.
Grab 4 or more Stars in one checkpoint - 100 Points - Alot of the stages in Antartic or Egypt have a ton of stars really close to each other, not too hard to get if you're wary.

This gave me 550 points, MORE than enough to unlock your first reward.

Now, go to the Avatar Famestar menu from the Main Menu and select "famestar Rewards" and click the Pirates Costume, it'll equip it straight away.

All that's left to do is enter a multiplayer game (A quick match is fine), with your Jynx's equiped (Press Y in the Jynx Shop) and as soon as the match starts press the B button to Jynx your opponent. A box will pop up on screen telling you which player you've applied your Jynx to then your achievement will unlock.

First, you'll need to unlock and equip a FameStar costume. To unlock a costume, you will need to gain a total of 500 FameStar Points by completing FameStar Challenges. All these things can be seen by selecting "Avatar FameStar" from the main menu.

Once you have a CC2 Costume equipped, you'll need to go the the shop, and purchase and/or equip some jinxes. To do this, you'll want to go to the "Jinxes" tab, then purchase some and equip it with Y, and you'll see a small icon under your character.

Now, you'll need to go into an online game with other people. Wait until the match begins, and once the race starts, just wait for a second or two after the other players start racing and press B. Pressing B will jinx a player in front of you, and you will unlock the achievement!

To unlock this achievement you need to buy a Famestar costume from the Famestar rewards section, the first costume which is the UFO costume requires newcomer status this is reached by gaining 500 Famestar points.

The current challenges are as follows, please note these will change weekly but these are valid for the next four days from the time of writing. Also note that some challenges are currently glitched, which means you can complete them but won’t be given Famestar points for doing so.

Valid challenges:

Always stay ahead of the silver clip in 10 Antarctic races. 100 points
Finish 10 northern races (Egypt) in 3 or less deaths. 100 points
Finish 10 southern races (Amazon or Antarctic) without ledge grabs. 50 points.
Jinx a stranger 10 times. 50 points

To do this buy a jinx from the shop and press B in multi-player quick match 3 times, once for each player, then repeat in other matches until you have jinxed 10, please note to buy a jinx visit the shop, once bought make sure to press Y to equip it.

Race a game clip for each letter of the alphabet. 150 points

To do this go to single player time trial, write down all the letters of the alphabet on a piece of paper, and select a level, then press RT to load 3 game clips to race against, when it says ready on right hand side press A to start, after the race cross off the letters that the game clips/players names start with

e.g. Vampireguy Chrissy and xxgamerxx you would cross off v,c and x.

Repeat this until you have raced against every letter, you will tend to get a set number of letters for each level, if this is the case and the same names come up pick another level and it will give you new names. When you have raced against all the letters of the alphabet you’re done.

Beat 25 gold medal times. 100 points. Continually get gold medals for this; beating your times, the clips times and your friends times, in any mode.

Finish 15 bonus objectives. 100 points. Beat the course objectives 15 times, easily done by grinding Amazon level 1 and completing the challenges over and over.

Unlock 5 split paths. 50 points To do this unlock any 5 levels and then press X on them to also buy the split paths.


The following are challenges that are GLITCHED, these will unlock but award no points at present.

Have an achievement from the original Doritos Crash Course 1. 50 points.
Grab 4 or more stars in 1 checkpoint. 100 points

Please note that the above glitched challenge for 4 stars in one checkpoint is re-obtainable, I got it a second time round and it will now unlock and award you 100 points

Once you have gotten your 500 points go to the Avatar Famestar menu from the home screen and select the Famestar Rewards then select the UFO costume.
Now go to the “shop” from the home screen, press RB until you reach the jinx tab and buy any jinx for 5 stars or 1 coin and then press Y to equip it.

Join a multi-player quick match or start a local match with a second player/controller. As soon as the match starts press b and you will jinx the other player whilst wearing your costume, achievement complete!

Whilst playing the 'campaign' you will get famestar points that will eventually level you up, when you get to level 1 you will be able to get a costume, there's a list of challenges that you can do on the main menu under 'Avatar Famestar'

Once you've done this simply let an opponent get in front of you then press 'B', there's a video guide below if you are struggling, the guide also tells you how to get the 'CC2 Community' achievement.

If you've played another Avatar FameStar game, you may discover that you've already unlocked some costumes, as I pleasantly found out the other night. I played all the way through "A World of Keflings" and saw that I had four Crash Course 2 costumes already unlocked from the start of the game.

I also discovered that only the person going for the achievement should be wearing the costume. When both my friend and I were wearing FameStar costumes, we did NOT get the achievement. When my friend took off the costume, I was then able to get the achievement, and then vice-versa.
