How to unlock the The Main Course achievement in Doritos Crash Course 2 - Definitive Guide

This can be obtained in World Tour by completing all courses without dying. This does not have to be consecutive, it is a CUMULATIVE achievement.

Unfortunately, there is no way of tracking which courses you have done without dying. I got the achievement for 15 courses without dying on Egypt 5, the 15th level so I knew I only had the last five to do, the pirate courses.

As far as I know, a "death" is when you are teleported back to the last checkpoint after some sort of epic fail, for instance falling into the water (or the drink ;)) or getting smashed into the camera by a giant hammer. Getting stunned or shocked does not count as a death.

I can also confirm that rewinds prevents death!

I can now confirm using the Y button to revert to the last checkpoint DOES count as a death!!!

I Apologize for the lack of confirmation, I would appreciate any comment to help me improve this. Or just negative the hell out of it whatever you prefer :P

Solid hints, I think you should add that there's absolutely no way of telling which courses you've died in... I just got the In Due Course Achievement and it's been bugging me to hell that I don't know which five courses I still need to do

I'd also like confirmation on whether or not the rewind button counts as 'dying'.

There doesn't seem to be a way to track this achievement, but if you have a gold medal run, you have probably done it without dying.

You can use as many rewinds as you like. A rewind will always bring you back to the first time you hit the previous check point. Even if you die, hit Y or mess up any other way, a rewind will erase it all.

Getting dazed does not count as a death. Red balls, barrels, shocks and being squashed are fine as long as they don't knock you into the water

I will say dont overly rely on the gold medal thing, This is the most annoying achievement I had cause I ended up doing gold medal in all the trophy stages and it still hadn't popped up.. I ended up doing all the stages again making sure i didnt die and after doing one of the ones that was previously gold medal ed it popped up

I composed together a Gold Medal guide for every stage in the game and it just so happens I did it without dying aswell! How awesome is that? Below you will find 0-death runs of all stages of all 4 worlds.

Just a few tips: Take your time in the harder areas, especially in Egypt and Pirates Island and familiarize your self with every checkpoint a few times before attempting the single run.
If you want to make larger gaps like I do, when you're sprint, jump, hold right and let go of the sprint button in mid air to be launched an inch or 2 further than usual.
You CAN NOT restart a checkpoint in the 0 death run as these count as deaths because you're restarting from the checkpoint.
You CAN use rewinds if you fail, I just so happened to beat the game without using a single one, so I have many left to use. (You'll earn this gradually across the campaign so you never really need to purchase them, although you can if you feel the need to.)

I'm sorry this guide is longer than it should be with the videos as I'm not too sure how to Hyperlink them... if anyone could help me out with that I have no problems with resubmitting/Editting the guide to suit you.

^ Playlist with every video in order just incase.

Thanks, and good luck, you'll need it! Again, please tell me how to hyperlink to avoid this in the future :)

The Main Course - 15G (Original Achievement)

Difficulty: 3/10

To get this Achievement, you must clear all levels marked with a trophy icon without dying.

This includes the first five levels of the Jungle, Antarctic, Egypt, and Pirate Island.

Please note that Rewinds do NOT count as a death, so use them to erase your actual deaths and move on!

Lastly, being shocked, shot by red balls, hit by a barrel, or smashed down by a weight, do NOT count as a death either. However, falling into the water, being smashed into a pole or camera by a hammer, or pressing Y to revert to the last checkpoint DO count as a death!

Just take your time in the levels and get to the goal, you don't need to get any kind of medal so no rush. Just don't try going for Stars or you may end up dead.

There are a total of 20 levels throughout the game. This achievement will require a lot of trial and error but because you don't need to worry about earning a medal it should make it easier. Because there is no way to track what you've done without dying it is recommended to do a fresh run through the game in order. Only move to the next level when you've completed the current without dying.
