How to unlock the Tone Deaf achievement in Double Dragon Neon - Definitive Guide

The Sosetsitsu are the offensive tapes that you use with RB.

To be on the safe side I never equipped one at all until I had finished the game, I did however, equip a stance and can confirm that equipping stances does not void the achievement. I also recommend that this be attempted on 'Normal' difficulty as Dragon difficulty is quite a step up.

I did this on my first runthrough and the achievement unlocked during the credits. I am unsure whether replaying every level without using any Sosetsitsu will still unlock the achievement (If someone confirms I will credit them and add to solution).

Edit: Credit to 'EliteEdawg420' and 'FL trooper' for confirming that replaying every level without using Sosetsitsu will unlock the achievement.

Edit 2: Credit to 'rockanroleiro' for his tip that if if you want to be extra cautious to not risk pressing RB by accident you can equip Knee Drop, which does nothing when RB is pressed unless you have jumped and are in the air.

Tips for Gameplay
1) Make use of enemy weapons
2) break Everything you find for health and extra lives
3) If an enemy has predictable moves wait and try to get a 'Gleam' or evade the attack before pummeling them. This saves a lot of damage being taken and if Gleam is activated you deal Extra damage.

Note: the Final boss has an attack which is essentially a 1-hit KO. When you see 4 white lights appear on the ground beneath you, wait at the edge of the lights until the last second then dodge roll away and you can survive it.

I replayed every level on normal with maxed out stance and the achievement popped at the end of the credits so that works, makes it real easy.

@Gizmo I don't believe you can unequip a sosetsitsu once it is equipped. but if you simply re-run all of the levels without ever pressing RB the achievement should unlock

Thats correct. It's like Slayer says. I replayed each stage with robro and sosetsitsu still equipped. But i never used RB and got the cheevo after completing lest stage.

Also on the last level after your first battle with skullmageddon (when you appear as robro for the 1st time) go all the way to the far left and at the bottom of the screen there`s an invisible ladder that leads you to 3 chests 2 keys and extra lives... just keep pressing down at the ladder and you`ll find it eventually...

Another tip to ensure you wont use sosetsitsu is to equip Knee Drop, in the ganeplay if accidentally you push RB it will not do anything unless you jump first

@ elite : I can confirm that. Had my balanced tape maxed to lvl50 and I combined this cheevo with the Ro-bro cheevo on normal.works perfect. Just never touch your RB and you will def get the two cheevs after the credits.
