How to unlock the Peerless achievement in Dragon Age Inquisition - Definitive Guide
Here is a list of the quest that generally give good influence.
-Setting up camps give good influence, early areas start with around 50 influence per camp, but later on you get 150 to 200 per camp.
-Closing rifts are similar to camps, start with around 50 per rift, end with around 100-150.
-Dungeons are good, give around 200 influence, also good for xp.
-Killing high dragons are great, go from a few hundred (500) to a few thousand (4000) influence.
-Finally the main quests give the most, just a bit more than the high dragons, for obvious reasons
All quests, missions, and operations, as well as some Codexes in the game reward you with Influence. You'll gain the ability to earn Influence right after completing the Prologue.
Rank (or Level) 10 is not the maximum level cap the Inquisition can reach so while this trophy will take time it's very doable in a single playthrough. Also each time you rank up with gain a single point to spend on an Inquisition perk of your choosing. These perks are very helpful so getting the Inqusition ranked as high as possible is always a good goal to have a lot of perks, especially helpful during the tricky Nightmare playthrough.
Personally I unlocked this trophy 55 hours into the game and I have been exploring many of the side areas and completing all quests in those areas. Story wise is about 3/4 of the way complete, at the part...
Throughout your adventures in Thedas, you will perform many acts that level up the Inquisition, such as (but not limited to) sealing Rifts, setting up camps, recruiting agents, etc. Level progress is displayed on the bottom of your screen as a blue/green bar each time you gain experience for the Inquisition. As you progress the game, this will come naturally, so don’t worry about attempting to grind it unless you aren’t a fan of exploring. If you wish to grind it out, focus on going from objective to objective quickly and then moving on. Reach rank 10 to unlock the achievement.

For many things you do, you gain influence. Every time you gain influence, you'll see a bar at the bottom of the screen with your level. Each time you level up your inquisition, you'll receive a perk point. You can spend these at the War Table.
Reaching level 10 isn't all that hard considering the max is 20 and you get Influence for many things you do. You gain Influence by completing quests, sealing rifts, establishing new camps, claiming keeps, requisitions and recruiting agents. An easy way to obtain some extra Influence while you're doing missions is to start Operations on the War Table. Many of these will reward you with 30/60 Influence. You can also use an exploit to instantly gain rank 10 (or even rank 20) Influence. For more on that, see the Inquisitor trophy.
