You will find an ocularum shortly after getting to the Hinterlands. It's a glowing skull sitting on a staff and appears as a skull on your main map. Press A to use it and look around the area for shining lights. Holding the cursor on the light for a few seconds marks it on your map. Set a marker on your map for any of the shards and all the shards you discovered will be marked on your mini map. Now just go and pick up one for the achievement!

Very easy trophy to get you simply need to look through an ocularum, Which is a skull on top of a post. You will then enter a mode where you simply search for shards which look like glowing circles and hover over them for a second to identify them. Once you find them all, or even just one you can go to it, it will now be marked on your map and when you pick it up the trophy pops/

Throughout your adventures in Thedas, you will discover short poles with skulls mounted atop them known as ocularum. They appear on your quest map as skull icons. First, you must approach one and interact with . This will bring you into a mode reminiscent of a telescope, and you must identify one (or many) shards by searching for a beam of fragmented light. Once the center of your screen matches up the fragmented light to it’s source, that shard has been identified, and you must now go to the location marked on your quest map. Interact with the shard using to unlock the achievement.

Throughout the game you'll see skulls on sticks. They will appear as skulls on your (mini)map when you get close to them. You can find shards with these by interacting with them. At the top of your screen you can see how many shards you can and have discovered with the ocularum you're using. In order to find shards, you'll have to move around and look for bright white lights that will only appear if you're aiming close to them. You'll need to aim the middle of your screen directly at them to discover them. Discovered shards will be placed on your (mini)map. You can't pick up shards before discovering them with the Ocularum. Pick up any of the shards that you've discovered to obtain the trophy.

You need to find all Ocularums and obtain all 114 shards for the Keymaster trophy. Bring a mage with you to the Western Approach and Forbidden Oasis if you're not a mage yourself. There are two shards in each of those regions that require you to Energize paths.
