How to unlock the Synergized achievement in Dragon Age: Inquisition - Definitive Guide

This is done by performing a combination of abilities that compliment each other. I'm not sure of the entire list, but an example would include a mage's Winter's Grasp, freezing an opponent, and any high impact ability (such as many done by warriors) to "shatter" the target. A full list shouldn't really be necessary since, if you're using your abilities regularly, this should pop almost automatically. For me it happened in the prologue on maybe the second or third fight after meeting Solas and Varric.

I thought a guide for people just trying to earn this at the beginning of the game would be useful. After getting Solas and Varric in your party, you’ll start up a mountain. Select Solas. Everyone will now follow him. When you find some enemies, hit cn_back to enter tactical mode. Select the closest enemy with the cursor, and hit cn_Y to cast Winter’s Grasp. Switch to Varric. Hit cn_X to use Long Shot on the same enemy. Now advance time several steps with cn_LB while still controlling Varric. You should see Solas cast, the enemy freeze, then Varric shoot, and the achievement pop.

Here’s a full list of possible combinations for people later in the game: https://dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Cross-class_combo_(Inquisi...)
You need to use an Ability that Triggers Status, and then an Ability that triggers Detonation. Tactical mode is definitely the most consistent way to do this.

In the first half hour of play, you will acquire a Mage who has Winter’s Touch already unlocked and uses it regularly during combat. Once he freezes a target, you will need to use a Detonator* ability on that mob to perform a cross-class combo. As a Rogue, Twin Fangs is an example and is unlocked from the start.

This also works on any targets in the future that are frozen, chilled, shocked, paralyzed, panicked, or sleeping.

*When accessing the Abilities menu, you can highlight a skill and read the synopsis to see if it is classified as a Detonator or not.

By using certain skills in order, you can activate a combo which results in higher damage than you would normally do for example. Each skill that can cause a combo is noted below the skill information. It will say "Impact/Precision/Eldritch Detonator Ability: Use on incapacitated foes for a combo". Impact is related to Warriors, Precision for Rogues and Eldritch for Mages.

Lets say you're a Rogue. If you were to put an enemy to Sleep with the Knockout Powder skill and than use any of the Precision skills, you would get a pretty standard combo. Now what's more interesting is that if you were to put an enemy to sleep, but any of the other classes would use their combo skills, it would trigger a cross-class combo, which gives even better results. This is something we want for this trophy.

Now this will more than likely come by normal play, but if you want to trigger combos yourself, command one of your companions to use a combo skill and once they do, use a combo skill of your own character on the same enemy.
