How to unlock the Mercenary achievement in Dragon Age: Origins - Definitive Guide

complete 15 missions from external groups which are:

- Chanter's Boards
- Favors for Certain Interested Parties
- The Mage's Collective
- The Blackstone Irregulars

once the 15th mission is the quest is completed the achievement should pop up,

15 mission completes from :
Chanter's Board
Favours for certain interested parties
The mage's Collective
The Blackstone Irregulars

However, I have noticed that they do carry over from over playthroughs, as I did mine half and half through two playthroughs

So you have to do 15 different quests or can u do like 8 on one playthrough and the same 8 quests on another playthrough?

yeah, I already got that.
In Lothering there are 3 quests as far as I know, so can u basicly start 5 new games and just do the Lothering quests each time and get the achievement?

Its not across all playthroughs, I had to do 15 on 1 character in 1 playthrough

Each town (Lothering, Redcliffe, and Demerin) has job boards posted in front of their Chantries. You can also find jobs for the Mage's Collective from their Liaisons in Denerim and at Lake Calenhad. Redcliffe and Denerim also have the The Blackstone Irregulars that you can do jobs for. Finally, in Denerim at the tavern in the Market, you can jobs for less reputible people. Complete 15 of these quests for this trophy. Most are pretty simple and don't take nearly as long as the main story quests.
