How to unlock the Little Dragon achievement in Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Definitive Guide

This achievement is awarded for finishing Taashs companion quest line. The second to last quest in Taash questline is also needed to unlock a huge chuck of the rivain coast map, which is previously unavailable. You will also fight two dragons in this questline needed to unlock

Dragon Age: The VeilguardBringing Down the SkyThe Bringing Down the Sky achievement in Dragon Age: The Veilguard worth 62 pointsDefeated all high dragons across northern Thedas.

The achievement is missable if you push through the main story without doing side missions. Make a habit of fast traveling to the light house after every mission you do and check for companion interactions. Open the map and check for symbols next to your companions. There are also glowing lights above their room entrances if they have an interaction available. Sometimes it is just dialogue (try to be supportive towards your companions), sometimes you trigger missions. Also switch up your companions on mission regularly so they can level up alongside yourself. After a series of quests

- fire on the sand
- a little dragon hatches
- slaying the firescorcher
- lair of the dragon king

you will unlock Taashs legendary armor and you are nearly there. I needed one more conversation in the lighthouse after that and a short final mission named "word of fire" triggered. The achievment unlocks upon finishing the quest. For reference, Taash was level 8 for me and I finished part 10 of the main story, always doing everything else availabe before progressing the main story.

I did this same method, completed all Convos for her after the quests and my achievement didn't pop. Same thing happened to me with Harding. Think I'm just unlucky cause I have 4 achievements that did this in this game.

Some of the achievments seem sketchy to unlock, I read some people posting about it. the high dragon one is also named with it. sadly I can't help with that. it popped for me like I described it.

The ‘Little Dragon’ achievement in The Veilguard relates to Taash, your Lords of Fortune dragon hunter, and completing their companion missions. Simply check in with Taash at the Lighthouse as often as you can and you’ll start to trigger a number of events, from casual conversations and musings, to outings and quests.

You can do these whenever, but you need to finish the thread by the end of chapter 11 (the point of no return) if you want them to be a Hero of the Veilguard and be ready for the last few chapters. If you leave it late, fear not, as you can get conversations and the like to spawn by just fast-travelling somewhere else and then returning to the Lighthouse.

Below are all the quests, conversations, and their rough trigger points.

  • Fire on the Sands (Outing) - After completing The Dragon Slayer, speak to Taash back at the Lighthouse.
  • After Shades of the Blight and Something Wrong - conversation about being a woman.
  • Dragon Class - available after speaking to Solas in The Siege of Weisshaupt.
  • Speak to Taash when After The Storm commences to start the A Little Dragon Hatches conversation side quest.
  • Secrets of the Qunari - Available to start after After the Storm, just need to let some time pass.
  • Slaying the Fangscorcher (Quest) - Speak to Taash after completing the main quest Fire and Ice to start this quest.
  • Taash will be with Harding in her quarters talking about fire breathing and stone magic (available before you finish the Fangscorcher).
  • Head back to the Lighthouse and you can speak to Taash and her mother.
  • Lair of the Dragon King (Quest) - Speak to Taash after The Words of the Wolf in chapter 11 to start Shathann’s House (which turns into Lair of the Dragon King).
  • Words of Fire (Outing) - Speak to Taash after the Lair of the Dragon King to get this quest.
  • You can talk to Taash again and unlock another event called Horns and Halla at the Hilt.

The trophy drops after the quest "Words of Fire" in Chapter 11 after the quest "Lair of the Dragon King", where Taash will be given a legendary property
