Dragon Age: The Veilguard

The 'Blood Ties’ achievement in The Veilguard relates to Lucanis, your demonic Antivan Crow buddy, and completing his companion missions. Simply check in with Lucanis at the Lighthouse as often as you can and you’ll start to trigger a number of events, from conversations and brief chats, to outings and quests.

You can do these whenever, but you need to finish the thread by the end of chapter 11 (the point of no return) to make them a proper Hero of the Veilguard. Fear not, though, you can wait ill the end if you like, as you can get conversations and the like to spawn by just fast-travelling somewhere else and then returning to the Lighthouse.

Below are all the quests, conversations, and their rough trigger points.

• Coffee with the Crows (Outing) - available after “Sea of Blood” and “The Smuggler Relic Case,”
• Bidding Farewell - only a conversation, but available after “Shadows of Minrathous”
• Speak to Lucanis when After The Storm commences to talk about the failed assassination attempt
• Bloodbath (Quest) - Speak to Lucanis when After The Storm commences (and some time has passed) to start this companion quest.
• After After the Storm, find Lucanis at the Lighthouse to talk about Spite - just need to let some time pass for this to show up.
• When the quest A Fighting Chance starts, speak to Lucanis about the demon.
• After some more time has passed, speak to Lucanis who is with Emmrich and a corpse.
• Inner Demons (Outing) - Head back to the Lighthouse and speak to Lucanis to start this quest.
• After that you can head back to the Lighthouse and talk about food with him.
• A Murder of Crows (Quest) - Speak to Lucanis at the Lighthouse after completing the chapter 10 main quest, Unwanted Guests to start this quest.
• Had to finish the main quest, For The Love of Treviso for the last event to pop up. Speak to Lucanis and complete A Moment’s Peace to complete Lucanis’ companion questline.
