In the lobby, load up the Practice menu with 
or walk with your chibi character towards the left of the platform where the yellow clouds are, west from where you start. Walk up to the guy with the purple hat and click 
. Then, select the third option "Combo Challenge" and hit .
You'll have to complete a total of 100 different combo challenges. These can be spread out over different characters.
If you are having trouble getting all 10 per character, I would suggest to just do the first 5 challenges for twenty of the characters. As there is currently a total of twenty-one characters, to begin with, this should be easy. Challenges 1-5 are incredibly easy and challenges 1-3 don't even require any directional input.
After the 100th completed challenge, the achievement will be yours!

This is for completing 100 Combo Challenges. Most of these are not difficult however the last 1-3 can be hard.
There are 24 Characters without DLC. Which means there are a total of 240 challenges. This means you will need to average 4 per character to reach 100(96 but you would just need to beat challenge 5 of just 4 characters)
