How to unlock the This Pain Will Make Me Stronger! achievement in DRAGON BALL FIGHTERZ - Definitive Guide

IMPORTANT:You will not see progression meter go up in the achievement area. You have to remember how many or keep an eye on how many W/D/L you have in game.

You have to play 20 individual ranked matches. After finishing each of the 20 the achievement will soon pop up shortly after.

You will need to play 20 Ranked Matches. Head over to the World Match area and speak to the receptionist to initiate a ranked match. Play 20 times and you will get the achievement. Rematches count towards this achievement.

See The Arena Match Achievements for a method of achieving with a dummy account if you are unable to find ranked matches due to declining populace.

(Online Multiplayer)

A staple to the online portion of fighting games, ranked matches allow players to face off against each other as they fight their way through each of their opponents to advance their rank and earn their place in the online leaderboards, much like that of the Daisen system found in other Arc System Works titles since BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma; and in other fighting game franchises, such as Virtua Fighter and Tekken.

You will need to play at least 20 ranked matches while in an online lobby in order to unlock this trophy. Whether you win or lose in any of the matches you have played does not matter as long as you play through the match from start to finish, but be warned, as being disconnected from the lobby or leaving during a match will not count towards it. You can also view the number of ranked matches you have played by going into your player info, which can be found in the pause menu, and press to view your ranked match statistics to see how many you have played.

Unfortunately, unlike the rest of the online trophies, this and the "My Power Level is 530,000" trophy are impossible to boost due to the matchmaking structure for ranked matches in DBFZ assigning players to fight against each other regardless of them being in different lobbies.
