How to unlock the Ultimate among Ultimates achievement in Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 - Definitive Guide

A few notes that I've made while working on the Ultimate Zones.

1. The transformation strategy as said in Fizban the Grea's solution works pretty well. I for example have been using Vegeta, as I have plenty of points on him from Galaxy mode. On my base form, I have Health Up S and L, and Battle Drive. On my others (though I go straight to SS2) I have Ki Charge Speed Up, Super Attack Power Up S, M, and L, and Defense Up S (31 points total). With the basic strategy of spamming Super Attacks (namely Big Bang Attack from SS2 Vegeta). You won't get medals, but it gets the job done. This should also be adjusted accordingly, and typically you should spam ultimates and not supers, but do whatever works.

2. Maybe more important than 1, but at any time, between fights, you can make a temporary save and go back to the main menu. After doing so, you can go out to dashboard and make a back up save. This meaning, if you lose the next fight, and the game wants you to start the Ultimate Zone over, you can just go copy that other save. You'll just need a USB drive or the memory unit.

Generalized Zone Help:
Zone 1: The handicap here is Ultimate Attack Power Down, so I used supers as stated above.

Zone 2: The handicap here is Health Carries Over. With 3 extra bars of health on Vegeta's first form, this zone isn't too hard if you're lucky. If you run into trouble, you could also use back up saves. Not sure how though how returning effects your health you had (assuming though it stays as it was).

Zone 3: The handicap here is Super Health Power Down. What that basically amounts to is that you have only 1 bar of health. With the 2 power ups on base Vegeta, that's 4. This zone can be pretty difficult, and is where I actually picked up the backup save method.

Zone 4: The handicap here is Amount of Ki Restricted. This amounts to you basically not being able to charge up to High Tension, so no Ultimates. But Supers will work just fine.

Zone 5: The handicap here is Defense Power Down. I don't use them, but I'm assuming this results in your defense power ups not being as effective. You also may take more damage from attacks. In short, I don't know, just keep spamming and play it safe and you'll make it through.

Zone 6: The handicap here is Ki Consumption Up. As you might imagine, this means that each of your attacks now cost more ki. Supers now cost enough that you need some blue to fire em, so I suggest sticking to ultimate spamming.

Zone 7: The handicap here is RS Seal. There is no spamming now, as you don't have that as an option. There are going to be a lot of ways to do this one, but here's mine. Equip the raging soul items (attack up and time extension) and go to town. My first fight I tried just using melee items, and I won with barely any time left. The second fight I didn't even have the clock come up. My upgrades (base Vegeta is the same) for SS2 Vegeta were Raging Soul Attack Up, Raging Soul Time Extension, Ki Charge Speed Up, and Defense Up S. Don't forget to make use of the backups for this one too.

Zone 8: Each fighter has a different handicap. The handicaps here are Super Health Power Down, All Dash Ki Consumption Up, Ki Charge Speed Down, Defense Power Down, Rush Attack Down, Super Attack Power Down, and Amount of Ki Restricted. For this zone, definitely make use of the backup saves. As for load outs, I used the raging soul setup again and actually made quick work of most of the fighters. Vegeta near the end gave me trouble, but everyone else was relatively easy. As for Goku, the raging soul strategy doesn't work, since you can't really power up to it. For him I went back to the tried and true strategy of spamming supers. Watch out when he gets to his last bar, as he goes into raging soul, and twice he got me with 20+ hit combos. Try your best to get out of it, and finish him off.

Great Guide! Worked out well for me :) Made it through with only re-trying a couple times total from Zone 4 (Super Buu). Copying the save to a memory unit or USB really helps as well, as getting to the climax stage and losing is demoralizing and frustrating.

Also doesn't hurt that Vegeta is a BOSS! wink

A good way to go is to make sure you use a transforming character. If you put Health Up S, Health Up L and Battle drive you start with Uber health and full Ki. Then you set the form you want to transform into with the stuff you really want (Health auto recover, Extreme Rush and Rush Armor are my favs) When you transform (hopefully in the first 5 seconds ;p) you will keep the health. This way you can have the health without sacrificing all those slot points to keep your attack up.

Now these are much harder than the battle zones. You are going too need some experience from galaxy mode as well. You will need Health Auto-Recover, Health up S or L and Absolute Confidence as your items. The enemies will be much more aggressive than the battle zones. So i would recommend practicing vanishing (pressing rb right before a hit and dodging it). A final thing I would like to add would to abuse this combo . X,Y then X,X,Y then super or ultimate. You should also use jump attacks (LB then X) they are an instant guard breaker. And as far as what character you should use, try any form of goku or vegeta, super vegito, super janemba, ss3 broly, super gogeta or ultimate gohan. All are very combo friendly.

best things i can say is if ur going 4 medals skip the the defense down and no item boosts on keep ur defense and attack high and b prepared 2 dodge block and button mash.
Best ability down items tht i think r
supers down
ultimates down
ki charge speed down
and ki limited or something like tht
The last 1 i put is debateable cuz theres other 1s but those r the ones i used and u want thm on to equipt more items and hav a better chance
Now all i have to say is good luck and dont get pissed or ull screw up ;)

Ultimate zones are all Ultimate versions of the Battle zones as listed under "Battle King" however it is much harder in comparison, fighting them under the Stamp Challenge conditions will not be an easy task.
