This side path is unlocked in Future Trunks saga in the "Twisted World" episode.
You will need to be on normal difficulty to unlock the branching path, which is unlocked by beating Zamasu and Goku Black within a certain time limit. If Trunkcs starts talking to Goku and Vegeta during the fight then you are taking too long.
Try to get to sparking mode as fast as you can. In sparking mode get in close(dragon dash with RT+A) and spam X, then eventually press Y and immediately use you're Ultimate attack (RT+B).
For the following episodes on this branching path you can change to low difficulty and still unlock the achievement. After the episodes Master Roshi will seal Zamasu away with the Evil Containment Wave and you will get the achievement after the final episode in this path.

Except im telling you which mission to choose and what choice to make lol. I keep the same basic battle tactic in the guides because it has worked for me so far
